Question… if he’s been sooo bad, why is he still on this team? Especially with the off the court concerns. You saw how they shipped Wood’s ass out
He’s young enough that at no cost he’s worth taking a chance on. Wood had no potential and there was no point in him being on the team.
Yeah, that's cap. Talent can be improved by working on your craft. Basketball is a skills game the more skills you have the more talented you are...... You are confusing athleticism with talent. No, but he is more athletic - you are only proving my point. DD
Harden isn't really a one way player, he just has inconsistent effort...and there's a reason Curry is talked about as a "talented shooter" instead of an overall talented player. Also being the overall most talented doesn't necissarily mean the best if the one way player is elite enough at the one thing they do. Of course, there's no one like that on the Rockets right now, so it's irrelevant
He's labeled as a talented shooter. I don't think anyone other than warriors fans would say he's an overall talented player. If he wasn't the greatest shooter of all time, he probably wouldn't be starting quality.
Searched for clips of Porter Jr's defense seeing as he's this monster two way player but this is all I found ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
SMH I knew you weren't up for a good faith discussion. Do you really think your dishonesty wins you points?
You said if he wasn’t the greatest shooter even he wouldn’t be a starter….if you think curry, a top 15 player ever isn’t talented, that’s fine. You also said kpj is james harden with defense, aka that he’s basically jordan, or could become jordan
And that's true, everything else he can do stems from his beyond elite shooting. Without that there's not a lot he could do because he's not terribly athletic and he doesn't play any defense at all. He's not a pure point, so yeah, without the shooting, what does he have? KPJ has a ton of talent, but he hasn't been able to put it all together. If you can't see that, I honestly don't care... but being overly hyperbolic and dishonest doesn't add to the conversation.
And I assume you studied and watched every one of Harden's game in 2012 to be able to utilize that "eye ball" test and say KPJ and Harden were similar in their 3rd season?
In fairness, I might as well be. The reason I disengaged from these kinds of conversations is that I knew there wasn't a valid opposition.
