I haven't really seen the show except a little bit of a couple episodes. Do they often try to take off running when they see the host or what? Some of these guys might have hurt a child if not for getting caught by this show, so that is a benefit of the show. Also, maybe shows like this will make people think twice before doing somethlng like this when they see how it could ruin their life. It is sad that there are sick people out there that would go after a child.
Sex-tourism is also a way to scratch that itch (and possibly explore the living arrangments in third world prisons).
I think it's great that there is a show like this. It's very easy for some sick pervert to manipulate some young kid over the internet. Those perverts ruin and sometimes take lives. I think the anonymity of the internet empowers some of these freaks to act on something that they normally would not. However, there are others who would do it anyway. I think by making these arrests public, it may make some of these freaks think twice before they try to pick up a kid.
So true, I would hope that their name and picture being on tv would stop them, but some don't. Just like that one guy who got caught twice, if he gets a chance to do it again, he would.
What's this show about? My brother was ranting and raving that he was on this last night, is it about hunting or something? I've never seen him with a gun, in fact he's in ministry.
New episode on tomorrow night? I heard that same guy is going to get caught for a 3rd time...or maybe not.
I ask if they've ever caught any women or anything because I haven't really watched the show so I don't know if they've caught both or just men. I'd be curious to know what percentage of these crimes out there are women and what percentage are men. As some of the recent incidents with teachers, etc. have shown... both men and women are guilty of taking advantage of children. It really is sad that we have people out there that do these sick things. Maybe shows like this will discouarge some people from doing such things.
