The main problem with these public humiliation shows is that eventually people will begin to feel sorry for the person falling into the trap.
I don't feel sorry for any of these pedos, so I am fine in enjoying these shows. I always try to catch them when I can. However, haven't there been some guys who drive by, do a U-turn and still get arrested? In those cases, I'd let them go since they just drove by instead of going into the house expecting to get some action. Kind of a gray area there... Btw, I'd think it'd be hilarious if a 16 year old pretended to be a 35 year old and meets up at the house, making it the adult decoy talking dirty to a kid.
I find this show to be terrible. It's like Cops who sell drugs to people, then arrest them for buying the drugs. Would these people act on their impulses, if they were not given the opportunity? In addition, I have a fine distinction for what I think pedophilia really is. To me, it occurs when someone is attracted to a PRE-pubescent individual rather than some 15/16 year old. If the girl is developed, she is an adult. Everything else is cultural.
So if you had a 15-16 year old daughter you'd have no problem with older men having sexually charged conversation with them as long as your daughter was developed?

Yeah but it is against the laws on the books. Also the impression I get from some of these guys is that when they are caught on TV isn't thier first time and who knows who young the other girls are that they've messed with.
I hear you but as long as the law states a person is adult at 18, in most cases, then that's the law. I could argue that I don't need to drive 55 because I am more than capable to handle my car at 70 but that wouldn't get me out of a speeding ticket
the impression i get is they have addictive personalities and are immensely lonely. i think they have a very tough time resisting the allure of sexual attention. i think they need counseling. i think they need help. i think they need to be punished under the law. i don't think it needs to be a primetime show.

Some countries are less restrictive than the US on the legal definition of pedophile crimes. If two resident aliens, say 15 and 19, were legally married in their native country, would their marriage be nullified in US? Moreover, would the 19-year old be arrested and charged for having sex with his/her adolescent spouse in US?
That host is such an arrogant prick that I almost find myself siding with the pedophiles. If I were a pedophile and got caught on this show, I wouldn't give that dude the satisfaction of even talking to him, much less totally opening up to him like that pot smoking family guy dude. And make no mistake about it...this show isn't serving the common good, it's just exploiting these people. If the show was just interested in serving the common good, they would just arrest the guys instead of taunting them for 10 minutes before the cops show up.
