It was prophetic in that UH was harly dominating CUSA. They couldn't even beat UTEP, for crying out loud. Welcome to last place in CUSA, Coogfan.

When you have to resort to personal insults, you've lost the battle. Sorry your team lost, Donny. I know you're a little testy and defensive, but let's not resort to petty namecalling. You're better than that.

You are a coward, texxx. You act like one on this board. Pretty simple. Not exactly a personal insult when it's a plain matter of fact as evidenced by numerous occassions on this BBS.

Now if you want me to personally insult you, I'll gladly go ahead and do that, but it will only get me banned, and that'd be stupid.

lol riiiight. I'm a "coward" because I called out Coogfan for his ridiculousness in believing they should be invited to join the SEC and that they had NOT been dominating CUSA over the years. You call it "coward" because I touched a nerve by calling out the truth. The truth always hurts the most, Donny. One day you'll mature enought to realize that and not respond with personal insults.

Nope. You're a coward because when it is raining on our parade, you're out there with a water hose. You're a coward because when we drop a game to Rice, you act like a child and a troll trying to piss people off as much as possible. You're a coward because when UH stomps a mudhole in Rice's arse you disappear and hide like a beaten dog.

If you think calling you a coward is a personal insult that deeply offends you, I have bad news. Because it's a lot worse than that.

For a supposedly grown man, you act like a small child, which reflects upon you, and the university you so often love to harp about, very, very poorly. I feel bad for you, maybe one day you'll grow out of it.

He also comes out of hiding if something happens to UT or to talk about which team he's become a fan of this year (which is usually just a team that is ahead of UT in the polls or a team that beat UH).

They still need to build a new stadium. I'm scared to use the restrooms at the Rob.

And the Quaid brothers, ugly and annoying Robert Wuhl, Jim Parsons - Sheldon on "Big Bang Theory," Brent Spiner ("Data" from Star Trek TNG) and Tom Landry (for an Engineering degree after playing ball at UT). And the head writer for the show "Reba," she actually had the son-in-law's character play ball at U of H, I don't think a lot of people watched that, either.

They put in suites at Key Arena in Seattle...before the pissing contest between the owner and the city.

That would be exactly one more than Rice has beaten.

Have you seen the layout inside Hofheinz? The ceiling for expansion and renovation is pretty low. Literally and figuratively.

A&M is having a down year. Sherman said this was not going to be a breakout season in August. Half of our players are true freshmen.

I still think A&M would beat Rice though.

It was pretty low in Key Arena. They had to drop the arena floor, IIRC, 15 feet underground in order for it to work.

Regardless of the successes or disappointments of this season, it's apparent that UH is in desperate need of a major stadium overhaul. At the end of the day, Robertson will still be a rundown eye sore to prospective players and students. So they lost to UTEP last night... I still don't think that's an excuse to overlook necessary upgrades.

Have you been inside Hofheinz? Like, reeeeeeeeeeeeeally inside of it? Under the tunnels and whatnot? I have. I can't imagine any scenario where the floor or stands can be altered in any way without money that would rival the cost of a new stadium. That place is stout.
