    Dear moe,

Always remember that children are more important than green squares.

    Dear tinman,

    Please stop. Just stop.

    Dear DaDakota,

Please stop. Just stop. And learn to spell. And make proper arguments.

    Hugs and kisses,

    rimabud

Increased moderation would do wonders for the quality of the board. Castor27 has done a great job over the years and probably runs the tightest ship, but even he is starting to lose some control over the Texans forum. Clutchfans is just too big now for the amount of mods it has -- and I think some of the mods aren't really policing their forum(s) like they used to.

The first step to saving Clutchfans is to partition for bringing Rudy T back as our head coach.

    Just my .02 *shrug*

    Oh Hakeem status 99er,

Isn't our duty to educate the youth?
I believe the children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way ??

Apparently these kids have no education in the NBA.

You apparently take pride in teaching the NFL posters some facts vs fictions.
What is wrong with doing that in the GARM or Dish?

Those changes are inline with a growing membership and infusion of the general population. Clutchfans isn't for techy old clutch fans it were the first to find it. It is for all Rockets fans. That's what you don't get.

It has changed a lot...for the better in my opinion. The clutter is annoying but I easily am able to weed most of it out by just reading the title of the thread.

I get it, even fake Rocket fans are here.

Did you even read Clutch's post here? He obviously sees there are issues in the GARM that need to be addressed.

Rep is the fairest way to pick posters and least likely to leave bad feelings....and might further encourage people to make better posts.

I think you could test this by just picking one topic and making one sticky thread in the garm for people to discuss that topic. For instance - to tank or not to tank. Let the top rep poster be the only ones to post and once it starts to die release it as a sticky thread and let it float down. Then create the next topic.

I think it's important that these threads exist in the garm so that everyone can read the discussion. You can make it open to participation by allowing people to "like" certain posts. And by keeping only one as a sticky it prevents it from disenfranchising the rest as second class clutchfans citizens.

Not issues, areas for improvement. It might sound like semantics to you but there is a big difference.

I don't think you know what a rockets fan is. I think you know what a certain KIND of fan is...but you are not the arbitrator of who is and who is not a "real" fan or not.

you must have had a boring new years eye dude.

I believe I know who Rocket fans are, but you are entitled to believe whatever you want. like that R Kelly song.

Really? You want to go there to that petty of a level? You were the one posting on the forum at 1130pm last night. If that doesn't make someone boring I don't know what does.

Do you ever cease to be annoying?

I'm on central time pal. I wasn't posting at 1130.

You notice that if I never told you Clutch posted on this thread, you wouldn't comment on it. It's like the only reason you are on this thread is because of me. "All Eyes on Me"

Other people have commented about the GARM besides me, Moes even called the GARM "Dead"

Give it a break dude, you can babble on and on about the way I post etc. Like U2 says, "Nothing changes on New Years Day"

I accomplished what I wanted on this thread, I called out to certain posters and they responded.

You forgot to pull rank on him in that post and remind everyone how you were the first Rocket's fan.
