I really didnt like him as a commentator or broadcaster, but sad to hear about his situation. good luck ernie. i was wondering what that thing on his neck was.
I hope he makes it through this. You'd be hard pressed to find a set of commentators with better chemistry than EJ, Chuck, and The Jet. They're so good together even Tragic can't bring them down.
This is just sad, he is a great guy and it just pours out of the camera how nice and how well educated in the game he is.. I hope he does make a full recovery and he's around for many more years on TNT.. If I had to pick the greatest commentator announcer of my generation it wouldn’t be Bob Costas or Marv Albert it would be EJ for sure.. He is one of those people you just don’t say "that's sad" when you hear a famous person is battling something tough he is a guy you really and truly feel for..
That sucks, it's one of those deals that you can't understand, bad things happening to good people, and on the show, he's the guy that makes everything work.
