They act like they instantly know how they thought and everything was 10,20,30 years ago. Instead maybe they should think before they start speaking because in this instance, as often, Kenny tries to impress the audience and colleagues about his 'knowledge' and he fails miserably. He says they were down 3-1 to Phoenix, which happened in 1994-95. They were going on the road for game 5, yet Kenny says their thought process going into game 5 was not on our home court. Then all they had to was win game 6, which was in Houston, in Phoenix and then have game 7 at home. Ok, I understand he mixed it up because we had game 7 in Houston in 1994 but we were not 3-1 to Phoenix that year! What's even worse is he says if Rockets were down 3-1 now, with 2 games in Portland, they should start hauling in trucks and packing it up. Uhmmm that's exactly what you did in 94-95 stupid!!!! Loser mentality much? He tries to inspire these Rockets but does the opposite. Leave that up to Maxwell, Elie & Dream. Unfortunately, Charles does not correct him, which would've saved this segment. Kenny was trying to be smart so it just negates everything he has said about how they thought at the time. I know most of y'all will not take it this serious, but it's just infuriating when you know this guy was on a team that turned it around in Phoenix and is now saying if we had been in a similar situation, we should've given up. That's not Clutch City mentality!!
Now if he has a sandwich.... and he ... no you have a sandwich... and you drive all... now wait. He definitely has the sandwich....
Yellow, what did you just type? Game 5 in '94 was at home. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994_NBA_Playoffs "Conference Semifinals (2) Houston Rockets vs. (3) Phoenix Suns: Rockets win series 4-3 Game 1 @ The Summit, Houston (May 8): Phoenix 91, Houston 87 Game 2 @ The Summit, Houston (May 11): Phoenix 124, Houston 117 (OT) Game 3 @ America West Arena, Phoenix (May 13): Houston 118, Phoenix 102 Game 4 @ America West Arena, Phoenix (May 15): Houston 107, Phoenix 96 (Kevin Johnson's famous dunk on Hakeem Olajuwon) Game 5 @ The Summit, Houston (May 17): Houston 109, Phoenix 86 Game 6 @ America West Arena, Phoenix (May 19): Phoenix 103, Houston 89 Game 7 @ The Summit, Houston (May 21): Houston 104, Phoenix 94 (The Rockets become the second team to win a playoff series after losing the first 2 games at home.)"
Good catch OP. Knucklehead Kenny we did exactly what you said we couldn't do. But I do agree with the mindset. They may win the series but not in my house. I'm confident we win tonight. Just do it for pride. Mo Williams starting shet after they won. How much more disrespect can you show. You won, you stole that victory from us and you want to start shiit. That's a classless piece of garbage guy that I ever saw. Make no mistake the Rockets will come ready to play. What McHale has not been able to do, Mo did for free. Mo just woke up the Dragon, He gave us the motivation and inspiration to come ready to play. McHale should send him a thank you tweet.
Alright, got it. Clutch City was 93-94, where we lost first two at home like this year. 94-95 Kiss of Death year we were done 3-1 like this year, but two of three left were on road as OP said.
