    And what did the Rockets do the last few years in the playoffs to earn their respect in the playoffs?

    I watch them a lot and they basically did not believe the Rockets were contenders and one big reason was because we were never healthy. I fail to see what the problem is. One thing to keep in mind as analyst you don't get to pay attention to the Rockets as much as a fan that watches every single game.

    Barkley judges teams/players based on playoff performances. So you can guess how much attention he put on a club that could never make it past the 1st playoff opponent.

    This year we made it to the 2nd round and had a hell of a fight. They did NOT simply give us the due respect. The Rockets EARNED it.

    I'm +++ your rep points.

    they never kissed our butt for accomplishing nothing in all those years.

    this is the year we did accomplish something and we showed guts and toughness which is a staple of what clutch city is.

    SO I suppose Barkley ended up kissing a donkey's ass and getting the "counting cupcakes" beatdown from Tmac because he loves the Rox?

    I didn't mean respect them as contenders, just as decent players, period, any of them. I don't remember saying there was a problem, so that's probably why you fail to see it.

    Not to dish T-mac, any time you spend 20 millions on a player or players, it will definitely make your team better.

    It would be nice to have T-Mac as a creater when teams front Yao. We saw the offense have some serious issues when that happened.

    Rockets fan or not, you have to RESPECT the effort & heart this team played with. Most of teams would have just opened a can of quit after losing their best player mid way through a series against the heavily favored team. This team did just the opposite! Easy to pull for a team like that!

    Objectively speaking, outside the one T-Mac 13 in 35 game and the 22 win streak, the Rockets have not warranted any respect these past few years. They routinely choked. Its not completely crazy that analysts have been reluctant to give as much credit as we do to the Rockets

    Absolutely true.

    As long as you include the 18 or so 'if's to the end of the sentence.

    Charles has not follow the Rockets to know that TMac does not fit anymore with the current team. I like what Magic said a few years ago the Rockets need to trade TMac. TMac is no longer the answer in Houston. Morey will get something done before next season. I can't wait for next season.
