[tmz](Falsely instigating) Tracy McGrady: Kobe tougher than Jordan

(UPDATED) - KellyD's Article shows that TMZ wrongly spun this
TMZ incorrectly reports that Tracy McGrady thinks Kobe Bryant was tougher to guard than Chicago-era Michael Jordan

You know T-Mac was primarily used as a defender that time? Posting his boxscore makes no sense, even more when he's new to the league and Jordan in his better years. Not defending T-Mac's comments, but you postin that boxscore makes no sense.

Michael Jordan still scored 33 points, so did Scottie Pippen.

Tracy McGrady (the defender) was in that game

Not a T-Mac fan at all, but that box score is actually kinda beastly for a young player... a near triple double with 5 blocks? Yikes...

That being said - his comments were obviously idiotic, and as atomicanderz suggested, him and the rapist should get a room. Maybe at a Colorado hotel so Kobe can really do work on T-Mac.

He was still a rookie though, plus MJ only had a 46.8 fg%, not lighting it up.

I also love how you nitpick that one game out of their three(T-Mac only played in 3 games vs. them 97/98) in that season.

Jordan was 4-16 for 11pts on Dec 13.
Jordan was 5-9 for 16pts on Feb 19.

    What's your point now?

That example I used still shows Jordan vs Tmac. You pointed out other games, those are good examples too, but they don't tell the whole story nor discredits my example.

Jordan can be defended. Nick Anderson did it in 95, Maxwell, Dumars..

Tmac faced Kobe more often and in Kobe's prime.
Tmac never faced the younger Jordan, so he's not making a logical comparison.

That was Jordan age 34. He averaged 28pts/game and won a championship.
    Tracy is 32 now.

Tmac is just running his mouth on the comments, funny stuff

3 games tell more of a story than one game, you probably hoped no one would look up the other games and think Jordan dropped 30+ in every game they met. At least admit your example doesn't prove **** or discredit McGrady.

you realize Jordan was 34 at the time right? His supposedly last year.

You do realize that McGrady now at 32 is a chinese basketball league player or bench rider in the NBA.

you know what Jordan did that year? he won a championship..

That doesn't explain anyhow why you nitpicked one boxscore to "prove" something and left out the bad ones. Love how you always run away to other points when your original point gets busted.

That game still happened. He still gave up 33 points to MJ or Pippen.

McGrady is still running his mouth.

    And that's my point.

Misleading headline by TMZ as McGrady admits he didn't play against Jordan in his prime.
