confirmed and convicted are two different things. I don't care if he escaped justice because he paid the victim. A rapist is a rapist either free or behind bars.
I'm thinking you and I have a lot of experience dealing with people like each other. I sincerely care a lot about rape and morality and making other people care about it. I think your approach is the exact wrong one and I think we both know how this conversation will continue to go. I edited my post because I admit I wasn't clear about my use of the word politics. Sorry for having additional thoughts. And if you keep posting one liners you're just going to keep coming across as a tone deaf militant irritant. But we have established that you have embraced irritant status to remind people of morality. It's not the way.
it’s the main thing keeping me from believing that Kobe and his 4 daughters died...if they got that wrong, then maybe we’ll find out that none of his daughters were actually on board and this won’t be an even bigger tragedy than it already is
You are entitled to your opinion. I have empathy for his family and no one deserves to die at 41. However I’m not down with rewriting history. He raped a teenager anally to the point her blood was all over his shirt.
I am shocked and sad that Kobe died. I am also not going to tolerate sweeping rape under the rug. You can do both at the same time. You can mourn for criminals.
This is sad. I admired the off the court Kobe. He always handled himself like a man. He valued his role as a father as well. May he rest in peace. Looking ahead I would say to bet on the Lakers. The energy this is going to put on them is going to carry them to a championship.
I've spoken my peace. I like @malakas as a poster generally and won't post about this anymore. But damn. The world needs a little more positivity and love just as much as it needs to have its face dragged through the sins of the past.
Imagine being so self righteous that you feel the need to puff your nuts in a Clutchfans death thread.
Idc about Kobe put on the game NBA tv. I wanna see the game. Not hear about Kobe. That's all I'll hear about for who knows how long here in California. I'm sorry but not sorry.
What I posted was in response to someone saying he was a good person and family man. A good family man doesn’t anally rape a teenage girl until she bleeds. His legacy is far more complicated.
I'm not a fan of Kobe. If this one hit me, I can't imagine what the fans who are religious about Kobe are feeling. Some Kobe fans weren't willing to accept Lebron coming to LA because they loved Kobe so much.. I even predict some fans are blaming Lebron for this right now, that's how devoted they are to the Church of the Black Mamba.
