I educate myself 10 times a day and more. Fast food, slow food, Lithuanian food, everything. I bet you aren't even fat. So shut up.
African American women have the highest rates of being overweight or obese compared to other groups in the U.S. About four out of five African American women are overweight or obese. African American girls were 80% more likely to be overweight than Non-Hispanic White girls.
Fat people have lower IQs compared to skinny people, yet they want equality. Fat people are some of the reasons medical care costs go up. However, I believe they have a right to do whatever they want to their body. So just stfu and eat everything in peace.
Semi-serious question: As a society, is it acceptable to promote healthy body images for people with unhealthy bodies? Further, while one could make a convincing argument that fat-shaming doesn't work in terms of making fat people lose weight, I believe you could make an equally convincing argument that it could be effective in deterring people from getting fat in the first place. Which should really be our goal, IMO. Even if an obese person loses a great deal of weight, in many (if not most) cases their body chemistry will be irreversibly altered to the point that they'll likely always deal with hunger/weight issues. Ounce of prevention and all that.

I wasn't talking about Barkley, or comedy. I was referring to the venom coming from posters in this thread and every other thread dealing with obesity.
If Sterling gets banned for his comments, shouldn't Barkley get banned for insulting fat people? Eventually, maybe everyone in the NBA could get banned for insensitivity.
Oh man, some people are so incredibly sensitive. It was a joke, nothing more. Get over it. I for one had a good laugh. Keep it up, Chuck!
Only if he told a girl not to post instagram pics with fat people, but that would never happen because nobody wants to post pics with fat people.
Even if your not an NBA fan, you would enjoy watching Inside the NBA, there are some nights where, I don't even watch the games, just the halftime to see Shaqtin a foul or to hear Charles say something really stupid.
After living overseas 8 years, I can verify this as true. Except for New Yorkers. They like you if your from New York.
