I am not sure how this is so "sad" for everyone around here... I mean, she's not someone they even had met or seen... I get it, it's sad that it's another human loss, and while we respect that, I don't see why this is big news. He killed himself EVEN with treatment. WORSE. You would say HE had lots more money and SHE had lots more to live (compare ages).
whats is wrong with your view on the world? Do you realize that kids who grow up with parents as addicts are 8 times more likely to become addicts themselves? You think because she had "financial resources" that she isn't just as likely to become an addict as every other kid that grows up with addicts as parents? Addiction is a disease, just like diabetes or heart disease. It is 50% genetics and 50% poor life choices. Some people grow up knowing there family has a history of type 2 diabetes and obesity but more often than not they end up with the same eating and lifestyle habits as their family did, not because they want to be obese but because it is just much harder to break away from that trend than they think
While I don't believe addiction is a disease, I do think the enviorment you grow up in, plays a major role in shaping who you are. lol theres always a post like this everytime somebody famous dies
perhaps the definiton of desease can shed some light. from Merriam-Webster Addiction is an impairment of the brain and is a response to environmental factors
You mean some tall dudes that bring entertainment to your senses and with whom you can personally interact at times while they represent your city? That.
^ Exactly. "were"? I thought one parent was still alive. So merge it with the thread that talks about his parents.
Well you dont have to post in it if you dont care Especially if it's just to tell other people what they should care about
I understand it when famous people die. But, tell me honestly - If I mentioned her name before this, would you know who I was talking about? Could you have picked her out in a crowd? Honest question. Maybe I'm just out of the loop or something and she is a giant public figure. As far as I can tell she's not even "Paris Jackson" or "Lourdes Leon" famous. If she's as anonymous as I think, this is all just rubbernecking on the highway, causing a nonexistent traffic jam at the scene of an accident, in hopes of catching a glimpse of something lurid. Why is she now suddenly a big deal to you now that she's essentially dead? Let her keep some dignity.
Lot of DBags in this thread. Is it that hard to just say, "That's a sad story. I wish her family well."?? Why do some people feel the need to be a contrarian on every single topic?
Maybe you've never heard of Whitney Houston and Bobby brown. Maybe milli vanilli is your favorite r&b group
Ok how about this? If you have never heard of Whitney Houston, bobby brown, new edition , then do not post in this thread and please do not pretend you know r&b. You don't. Thank you
