Seems really out of character for AJ. He always seems so calm and collected. The fan must have said something really fcked up like "Aaron Judge MVP!".
http://thebiglead.com/2017/10/26/a-...bar-altercation-after-game-1-of-world-series/ Sources say Hinch “snapped” and unleashed on the other patrons — cursing and yelling in the middle of the bar. One witness tells us the incident turned physical and cops were called to separate the two parties. We spoke with Pasadena PD and we were told they responded to the hotel at 10:30 PM to help security “keep the peace” during an incident involving Houston Astros “team management.”
I know it's wrong but I love that he's repping us and the team and not letting those **** talking fake LA fans talk down about us. Seems super out of character so must've been significant issue or the liquor gets him to his dark side lol
Safe to say the guys on 790 are reading Clutchfans (I know Adam Clanton is a longtime member here). On the radio not long ago Jason said "that's my manager" when talking about this story.
Posted in the other thread, but should have done so here: My guess would be one of two that might set him off: If they were knowledgeable about the Astros / baseball: "I still can't believe you guys traded Aoki for Liriano!" If they were not as knowledgeable about the Astros / baseball: "So, you're the manager of that Texas team, the Rangers?"
Hinch is actually a pretty emotional guy. Remember the cussing in 2015? And his voice has cracked several times this year in talking about Harvey, when he was talking about Springer and the game last night, etc. Plus, he's already had to deal with his family being harassed at Yankees Stadium (that happened, right?). So, maybe he's just a bit more sensitive to fan reactions now.
