Try to do it yourself with an injured thumb or finger. He needed treatment to his fingers at the end of the 3Q, and that's probably why he uncharacterically missed 4 free throws in 4Q.

Yao was our playmaker in the 2nd half. If you couldn't see it, that is your own problem.

He also had FOURTEEN FREE THROWS. And he was 3/8, not 2/8, and had 4 assists. Bonzi helped but Yao was still the main guy leading the charge. We were down by 12 at halftime, and we had a chance to win it at the end.

Shaq was/is old; thats the truth. You don't have to be a Gaurd to carry a team. Yao is just naturally passive, and not a last shot comeback kind of guy. Let's just hope that T-Mac's back soon and everyone stays healthy.

Yao was too tired! If you could not see it, that would be your problem.

like i said, w/ bonzi and others stepping up, we won't be as bad as before where we would only win 20% of the time w/o tracy.

since he's only out 1 week and this is our toughest stretch, we would have to fight to win w/ tmac.

so i won't be pissed if we lose these games. we're playing the 3 best teams period.

but again, even if tmac stayed and everything, i expected yao to dominate b/c of the single coverage: 5-17 is not very good. but it's one of the bad games even the greats encouter.

i just WANT TO SEE BETTER PLAY FROM THE ROLE PLAYERS NOW.

Shaq had Horry, Fisher as well. If we had one of them today, the last 3pt shot wouldn't be missed!

Actually, I think it was Yao's problem.

Yao has never had a problem shouldering the load. He will do it again. However will his teammates contribute to the cause? Particularly the point guard position? That is the question.

I didn't say Yao played well, it was a poor night shooting for him. But he kept fighting and kept getting to the line. I can appreciate that. He won't keep missing FT's in the crunch. Pryuen mentioned something about a finger injury, perhaps a dislocation?

Honestly, if you're not willing to give Yao a chance to lead the team, then you have shown your true colors and you are not only a McGrady only fan but also a Yao hater.

Do you know, because of that, the league has changed the rules?

Okay, stop crazily defending Yao. He just missed his FT's. Yes, he was tired, but he is also a star and a 90% FT shooter. Everyone one the court was tired, including Bryant. Though, it didn't stop him from hitting a couple of daggers at the end.

Time to trade injured prone Tmac for Kobe while his value is still high. Morey do it!! Tmac is so fragile every year...I mean look at his skinny legs...like sticks..no wonder he's injured prone

Kobe managed to hit a couple BIG shots at the end. He played more than Yao; I'm sure he was plenty tired too. Thats is what I was saying.
