If only we could combine the best attributes of Francis into TMac's body. You would have another Kobe. Steve is a good, firey backup who do to the lack of talent otherwise in our back court deserves more minutes. His body is still about two seconds behind his head and heart. TMac lack's the fire Francis has and is showing glimpses of being on the downside by his shot selection but still has freakish moments.
I think this is case,but he still tries to avoid contact when he attempts the shot. Whatever the case, he does not find a way to get to the line enough.
I get frustrated with performances like last night as well (from T-Mac) but his brilliant games far outway his lethargic ones. Kobe may play with more heart, but he lacks a brain.
T-Mac only has to change his "shot first" attitude for a "drive first" attitude. I prefer him to drive and dunk or kick out than to take a JS that rarely goes in when it counts.
Is not hate or jealousy, is a FACT! Kobe without shaq still havent acheived anything just like T-mac. Trade kobe for Tmac, the rockets still will play 2-5 type of offense. Even with Kobe in the rockets uniform, you still cant change the fact that Hayes cant shoot, Battier is still one dimension and even with kobe you cant stop Rafer for bricking! And the rockets will still be 9-8!
i question people on here if they actually watch kobe play every night or just the games where he goes off for 40+.
No, Kobe is if you combined SF3's selfishness and over dribbling (although, he's been amazing lately and not been doing that) with Tmac's accuracy, and removed any true sense of leadership that either guy possesses.
How about we do it the other way around? We combine the best attributes of T-Mac into Francis' body. That way, our Tracy Franchise won't be out half the season with back problems.
Francis' heart is overrated. Replace "heart" with "over-inflated ego and disregard for reality" and it would be more honest. What has Francis done to show he has heart?
