I love it; you have to have swagger and confidence to win a championship, and Tmac and JVG are instilling that in the rest of the team. Leaving NO ROOM for doubt.

It's not arrogance, it's determination. He has every right to be pissed off. He's gonna kick it into overdrive now. Still has another 3 gears to shift. Time for T-Mac to go Gears of War on these dudes.

I give the whole record thing this year with McGrady but I really don't care what our record is against the sorrier teams in the league. I only care about a winning records against the CONTENDERS. And that's when Yao is DOMINANT, please check the Mavs, Spurs beating this year. Check the stats son. ENOUGH SAID.

I think this takes pressure off of everyone else. As long as Tmac doesn't begin to force shots.

Anyone who think the rox best player is Yao, they're really fooling themselves. As much as i like Yao and think he's a really good to great player, the stats dont lie. The rox are 2-8 without T-Mac and 20-10 with yao. Until Yao develops the stamina to dominate the entire game or just in the 4th, it will be t-macs team.

i don't think he should say it's HIS team......maybe 2 years ago, but since last year it's not really his team anymore. it's his and YAO's team. 50 50 right down the middle..........actually 2% can go to V-Span

If you believe that, then you dont really know basketball. It is his team, bar none. I remember last season they couldn't win a game without t-mac, but they win games without yao. Tracy has taken sorry teams to the playoffs, yao cant even get to .500 without t-mac. I'm not trying to break the 2 up, but the truth is the truth.

i like the hypothesis presented by some that says he might be taking pressure off yao by doing this

you really think he's got that noble and deep a motive?

There are several reasons why this is not T-Mac's team:

    1) Yao got here first

    2) T-Mac has too many 20-30% shooting nights with like a million shots

    3) It's like saying Denver is Melo's team without acknowledging AI's importance.

    4) Yao has is more consistent

    5) Yao has better stats -- real and fantasy wise

    6) Yao has more fans globally, and this is reflected in All Star votes

    7) Rox would never trade Yao, although they would trade T-Mac

'Nuff said! Time to beat the Jazz down....

what's our record w/ and w/o tmac? that's all u need to know why tmac makes this team go.

he's the guy w/ the ball in crunch situations...

    but obviously tmac needs yao.

YOFs and TOFs still bickering about whose team it is instead of focusing on the enemy hailing from the Box State...how sad. :(

i agree. our 2 stars are playing well together and peaking at the right time.

this ain't kobe/shaq. this is tmac AND yao together in their quest to lead houston to the promise land.

who cares... what he says.... I for one love it...

arrogance or just trying to pump himself or the team up... dosent matter to me...

but you got to walk the walk as well... no excuses...

if Tmac comes out and shoots 11 for 30 and you guys better not let him slide...

bottom line is he needs to get us out of the first round... or he should be gone by next year...

    This is T-Mac's team period.

Yao can lead this team if he can play 40 minutes.

    But he can't.

Jim Gray & Bill Walton are talking about it. They said that if you got it you don't need to declare it...

Again, Jim Gray manipulates another athlete. Tmac hasn't learned his lesson.

I disagree with people on this thread...arrogant talk doesn't help. Even though he is talking about his teammates, it puts pressure on them and motivates the Jazz to stop them.

T-mac read the posts saying it's not his team on this thread and coasted the first half to prove a point :p
