I don't have high expectations like you, I just wish we have a tall PG, who is capable.

We got no production from our 4s tonight. Conscidering the matchup, I'd say that was the biggest disapointment. Nash going off against us is nothing new.

Well our 4s did bad because...there was only one capable 4. Scola and he didn't show up today.

Hayes...Cook...those are our other two without Landry.

Yeah, I saw Yao inbounding the ball many times today too. I know mainly it was because he was closest Rocket, but what he really ought to let the PF do it. Part of the reason of not letting Yao do it is so he can get up the floor slowly and set up without having to run. and PF don't bang half as much as Yao does on this team so they should have the energy to go back and inbound the ball.

How about a heavy PG more than 180lbs?

you mean nash??? He's exploded this season like this quite a few times against other teams. He's on my fantasy teams, so i check his stats every single game.

the question asked what was other point shoots more than the rest of his team, so i answered it, it's not even that relevant to tonight considering Brooks wasn't near to shooting the most.

I'm assuming that we actually want to play Houston Rockets basketball.

The problem tonight wasn't Aaron's defense on Nash... it was our team defense that was horrible. Guys were just standing around, watching the play develop instead of staying with their man.

A lot of people were bashing Brooks for letting Tony Parker have a couple of back door cuts in a game... yet tonight the entire team was letting it happen. This was an awful defensive effort tonight by the entire team.

I think the absence of Landry has forced Adelman to play the three-guard unit of Lowry, Wafer and Barry a lot more than he wants to. When it works, they score a bunch of points quickly, but when it doesn't, it's a defensive disadvantage.

It was good to see Landry on the bench, though. Hope he comes back soon.

Scola didn't contribute anything in this game, but he's been solid pretty much all season. I think every player is allowed a couple of off days. better to take them now and not in the playoffs.

exactly..Scola and Landry are really the secret to our success...No Landry and Scola's poor performance would be an L every time against good teams. We absolutely need them to healthy and playing at a high level.

this is a bit of overstatement.

in that particular case, yes it was a lazy pass and wasn't the first time it happened. but i were the pg, i'd stay a bit closer to yao or whoever gets the rebound. we didn't have a clear chance to fast break on that possession anyway.

and that turnover wasn't the reason we lost the game. it merely cost us another 20 seconds since the suns didn't score after the steal.

    i really got speechless.
it has been long time that out PG position was sooooooooo weak. and nowadays, PG is actually the most important position in NBA, but we just kept unchanged.

Brooks is not our future, period. please wake up!!!! RA!!!!

I agree, but i think the point the poster was trying to nail down is Brooks a problem because he's a scoring point, he just just asked a bad question. Brooks shoots a lot, and definitely should shoot less than star point guards like those, which he does. Brooksis shotting 10 shots a game, those other guys are at around 15-17, that seems about right. Brooks is the starter afterall, and he is a scoring point, so he's gonna have several attempts a game, no way around that. When he usually goes over and shoots like 20 times it's because he's shooting well, which is a good thing. Fans just complain because they want to make him into an assists guy, and he's not, they need to live with it.

Yep, right now i'm just wondering when he's going to get back. We are lucky we had that one game in 7 days because I feel we've been getting destroyed on the boards without Landry. Yao is too slow and Scola gets back on defense if he feels he can't get it (which isn't bad) Landry always attacks the glass no matter.

do you usually hate on battier or do u have selective vision tonight? EVERYONE got abused on D for houston. The suns whole starting lineup shot well over 50%, except for shaq, and he was 8 of 17.

Right. And if we had Deron Williams or Chris Paul as our PG I wouldn't mind letting them take the most shots either. Williams shoots 0.468 and CP3 is at 0.498 this year.

Nash also has a high percentage of 0.492

yao inbounding the ball may be a new wrinkle designed by adelman. it started last game against the clippers. adelman has said he thinks it's ok to let yao trailing the play so our speedy guards can get a look a first to see what's out there.

Are you agreeing with me or calling out Brooks? Of course we'd want deron or cp to take over, brooks doesnt try to take over as much as fans seem to think, he usually is shooting well when he throws up a lot of shots, the rest of the time he's at about 9-10 attempts. Rafer wasn't even a scoring point and that's about how much HE shot, now THAT is trying to do too much.
