Many analysts ranked Portland as the second best team in the West .... With TMac playing, we would have lost again most likely.
*facepalm* McGrady averages nearly 30 ppg in the playoffs, wtf Explain how we would have lost? We would have another scoring option and another way to beat double teaming on Yao, not to mention a playmaker..?
I want to VOMIT from this gossip!!! It's hard to take an article serious that does not reveal the source. Of course they don't do it for "certain reasons, etc. (league violations, etc)," but if you can't open your mouth and claim what you said, then don't say anything at all, because otherwise, it's just speculation with NO BACKBONE! Please pardon my tyrade, lol. I just get sick of it.....it sounds like some gossip show...."and this week we have......tracy mcgrady apparently would like to play for the bulls. i didn't hear him say it, but that's the rumor." up next. "you know, the rockets are still trying to move that fat contract. (as if the contract won't LEAVE EITHER WAY!). clearly the bulls shouldn't have interest in t-mac. who wants a washed up vet with no skills? hence the fact the rockets are trying to trade him"....BLAH BLAH BLAH! please pardon my caps. it's just,,,,,,grrrrrrr. lol.i just hate people get PAID to write crap like that.....
Well said. I agree with every single word. Also what guys fail to realize is that Yao actually had a favorable match-up. The Jazz were horrible match-up wise for him and Luther Head. Yet guys hated Head. Portland has Oden and Pryzbilla. 2 guys that Yao can actually guard and are not really a threat at scoring. Dallas had Shawn Bradley but they also had the option of going small which took Yao out of his game. Utah has Boozer and Ohkur. Yao CAN NOT guard Ohkur because he stands behind the 3pt line which Yao has no reason being that far out and Boozer has the speed to just blow by Yao. Again another bad Match-up for him. The Jazz realized that and attacked Yao. So again for guys to say we don't need McGrady this or that are just talking out their ....... Guys on here get so caught up in the moment its unbelievable how quickly they can turn on a guy who has done so much for this organization. Fake fans on here is what I've been saying for a long time.
No credible source AGAIN. If your going to post tmac would love a move to the bulls, atleast find a source where tmac actually said that, or someone from the rockets and bulls organization.
Such a source is still not founded but it has already been clear for long that T-Mac isn't very happy with the Rockets, maybe moving him is the best option for both T-Mac and the team, but no way would we digest any long contract which would certainly block our way to landing James in the summer of 2010.
I use to assume people know that the Rockets made the finals in 86, before people here told me that Olajuwon never sniffed the finals until Jordan retired. you expect me to believe a majority of new posters to know about Walter Payton?
I know that, but how did this mindset happen where people just believe that Dream never made it to the Finals before Jordan? It's because if people don't correct other people with facts, then the assumption will be fact. Just like 95, where if you ask people if Jordan was there, you would have alot of people say no. Just like when some tmac fans post that kobe can't stop tmac, but you post the official game summary showing that kobe clamped him down in the 4th and OT for only 5 points. I'm all about the truth.
I like your thinking, but I think there are a couple of flaws w/your trade. First, I don't think the Bulls need another young PG, especially one who is not defensive minded. And while Miller would be the perfect backup to Yao (he already knows Adelman's system), he is even more valuable to the Bulls as their starting C. Second, any trade to the Bulls may have to include taking back Jerome James' contract. So the guys to be shipped out of Chicago would be Hinrich (who they've shopped endlessly), Deng (looks like the end of his road in the windy city) and Jerome James (bloated contract). And if I'm the Rockets I insist on either Omer Asik's rights, one of the Bulls' 1st rounders or Noah.
