this isn't 2002 anymore. chicago doesn't want to touch t-mac with a 10 foot pole. we are actively shopping t-mac it seems but noone wants to touch him!

with the ridiculous amount of hate and blame he gets here who could blame him? if i was in his shoes i'd feel the exact same way, too. on the other hand i think a lot of people underestimate his heart and desire. i think he'd like to stay with the rockets and come back as good as possible to be a big part of the team. but if that's not possible because his team doesn't want him anymore chicago would be a good option.

Will the Bulls make an offer? If so, what? Deng and a sign and trade Ben Gordon would be great. ( as long as they do not over pay Gordon )
I would take Brad Miller in a heart beat!!!!! Maybe TMac & Landry for Miller, Ben Wallace, 1st round pick(?) and filler. That's just off the top of my head salarywise. Miller would give us some size & production at the backup 5/4 and allow us to limit Yao's minutes.
the article also said "The rockets are determined to move mcgrady's 23 million dollar contract"... so are we treating his 23 million dollar contract like a massive disease or something??? its one of the best trade assets in the nba right now...and this writer is implying its more like eddy curry's contract... hence you can get a notion for the actual validity of this blurb

I believe for any trade to be worthy of discussion and possible execution, each team must atleast get equal compensation of talent being trade. If we want a PG like Hinrich and young swingman Deng for an aging McGrady then we must sweeten the deal for the Bulls with Brooks and Landry. This way Bulls replace thier roster with a fast young PG and atheletic PF to compliment their already good young team of talent. T-Mac could make them instant contenders in the East if he can stay healthy and contibute or they atleast shave his salary next summer to go out and spend a ton of money on Wade or Melo who I think under Jordan's direction will go to the Bulls. For the Rockets this is an absolutely great deal. We get a proven PG who can distribute the ball and become our playmaker. Deng is just an excellent all around player. Miller is the key to Yao getting rest and he knows Adelman's system and could contribute very well. Our lineup Hinrich / Lowry Deng / Wafer Artest / Battier / White Scola / Dorsey / Hayes Yao / Miller Excellent lineup skill players at every position. Height is no problem 6-3 PG to 7-5 Center. No mismatches on defense and 2nd unit can score some points especially Lowry, Wafer and Miller. Make it happen Morey.
