See, that is just not true, there would have to be a clearing of the air, there is no way the organization will just overlook all the negative stuff that he brings to the table as a player.

When Tracy looked at the camera and could not believe people were calling him a Diva...I mean that was laugh out loud funny.

He brings it all on himself, and he should be smart enough to realize the consequences of all that stuff, but he just isn't. He continues to make the same stupid mistakes over and over again he has made his entire career.

Almost all of them with his mouth, the guy brings everything onto himself, he has no one to blame but himself.

I just don't believe for one second the organization will overlook all of that stuff for an aging, injury prone player, at some point you have to stop enabling prima donnas and kick them to the curb, and I think that is exactly what they will do.

He may have a couple of years left, but I am sure they are not in Houston.

You always get rid of an asset just before it crashes, you know before Tracy becomes Glen Rice....you find another team that thinks they can build around him, or get more out of him than you can.....it is just good asset management.

Every "Star Player" is going to want their touches; i.e Brandon Roy. He is crying now because he isn't getting enough touches. The reasoning is, if they have the ball and if they are effective, they are going to be double teamed, which opens up the court for their teammates.

Going down the stretch of games all coaches put the ball in their "Star Players" hands. Name me one that doesn't?

Whether he ever becomes a "Star player" again is up in the air, the odds are agains it.

And you don't sign a guy and HOPE he gets his explosion back.

Sometimes you have to do the right thing and let them move on to another destination and let them try to resurrect their career.

Maybe Adelman is being diplomatic. He doesn't sound like he has "zero interest" in playing McGrady as the "source" made it out to be.

Oh, and I love how Hayes shut down Durant.

I guarantee you that if he comes back and play effectively, the same way he did before he was injured, they will resign him. There are not a lot of Star athletes out there. LeBron is not coming here, niether is D. Wade, or Joe Johnson and unlike most people, I do not foresee DM paying max dollars to two front court players (Yao and Bosh). Your will be unbalance, plus Scola is a free agent this coming off season, so he is going to be looking for a hefty raise as well. I do not see it.

I think they will offer Tracy, if he is healthy and effective, a 3yr deal between $30M - $45M.

He would always be diplomatic, even if the source was 100% right. There is only one guy in all of this playing his hand in public, and it is not the organization.

TMac is digging his own grave here in Houston.

That would be stupid, you don't put that much money or cap room into a player that is as injury prone as Tracy is, especially when you already have another injury prone player in Yao.

Sorry, I know some of his fans want him to stay, but if you break it down purely on a business level it makes no sense to offer him anything but the door.

It may be true that Adelman has/had "zero interest" in playing McGrady in his current condition, but is open to playing him if he is to prove himself ready to play healthy and fit in with the team.

I'm surprised we have gotten a "he haz no hopz on hiz jumpa" response to this video.

Thanks for posting. We need to do something with him, trade him, play him, make him come off the bench etc..

It pains me to see him rot on the bench. Hopefully whatever the organization decides to do with him, we benefit from it because I hate the way we give up games constantly.

I think they know he is not going to have his explosion back immediately. It's going to take him a year removed from the surgery, plus he is going to have to start playing, to get back in the groove.

But I know from your history of playing sports, you are going to expect him to be his old self, the first day he steps foot on the court.

How about Shane Battier. I don't think he will be here next year either.

They are going to give Yao the max next year and he has been more injured than Tracy, also once again, who else is out there?

    A.)Who are you? & Doesn't mean much?

B.) You stated: "most guards can knock down shots like that in practice". The whole point here is to analyze this video to see where he is at, and of course a few guards can knock those down- but you are talking about HEALTHY guards who play every game. He is a Guard / Forward who hasn't played in about a year. THIS CLIP DOES MEAN A LOT.

C.) It is idiotic to think he will ever jump like he did. (t-mac has problems with his feet / back, scouts only expected him to last 5 years) Watch that interview AGAIN, - T-mac laughed when Tim talked about jumping like his Toronto days.

I am just having a conversation with another member, no need to get all excited.

I am not bashing him or knocking him at all, we are discussing what the organization would do with him going forward.

    Stop being so sensitive.....SHEESH !

    Don't be a juvenile whiner !

    ;)

Exactly, now get back to your cubicle kiddo and get to work, I am on my way to a massage then steak dinner with my employees - who need to watch out before I fire one of them for coming in late !
