Nice bro, even though it was just the 3 point shooting from him, it also makes me want him back to play with the team, even gel with em.
well, his shot/stroke looks really good, but those are easy shots for him. wish there was some way a vid can be leaked from practice (ala lebron james getting dunked on style of way) props to sooner for the vid
t-mac did play a bit of PF in his toronto days, but i dont think he could handle the banging inside because he's not bulky.
his warmup stroke looks good, no telling how he'll shoot in regular games. it looks like he's changing his shot to shoot with his legs while before he used to jump and then shoot.
he changed it last year. he said elevating too high on his 3pt shots made it too flat. therefore, last year, he was pretty good from 3s despite playing on one leg (38.4%). so i'm sure he'll be just as good this year, esp. with the type of 3s this team has been taking. however, we still need to see how he moves and there's no way you can tell from the shootaround. like i said, someone needs to LEAK something . i mean, he's practicing against 2 pretty good defenders in shane and ariza.
Cook is makin sure that when he breaks suckas down getting to the rim that he stays smooth and hits his and-1 .... once a playa always a playa..
"About an organization which lost it's two best players because of injuries and still manages to be one of the premier teams in the NBA?" umm the rockets are nowhere near "premier". There 9-8 and have beaten decent teams yet lost to some not so decent teams. And that is how it will be all season with these kinda players until u get a guy back that can just win a close game for you once in a while. Scrappy players will have the rockets at .500 all season at best.
Yeah, but those scrappy players will be here NEXT year when Yao gets back, so you might as well let them develop until that point. Adding a healthy Tracy makes this team better, but does not elevate them to contender status, so why bend over backwards to help a guy that is going to leave at the end of the year anyway? DD
Well theres no GUARANTEE that he wont be here. I mean if he comes back strong after all that hard work an so does yao why wouldnt u keep them together? Now u would have them back, plus ariza and a pretty strong bench that had developed the year before. And the rockets arent contenders but with mac they could be playoff contenders. So i say get him back asap to have a chance at the playoffs an get ur younger guys sum playoff experience
Nope, I don't think there is any way they keep Tracy, the baggage he brings is just too extreme. If they intended to keep him why draft all those wing players? Why sign Trevor Ariza? His days in Houston are clearly numbered. There is only one way, I could see him being kept, and that would be him completely humbling himself, apologizing to the fans, the organization, and saying he has learned his lesson, and matured, and will now just put his head down and get back to work. And, I don't think there is any way, his ego will allow that to happen, do you? DD
Well i dont even think shane battier and chase are starting caliber players at this point so that would leave tracy/ariza, with shane/chase off the bench. It would be a pretty deep team if kept together. But i dont think tracy needs to apologize to anybody. He's doin wut any fan of his would want, he's workin his ass off to get back an expressing that he is eager to play which is a good thing. He even said "until they feel i can play i wont play". So he knows his place with the organization. No need to apologize, just go out there an play ur ass off wen u get the chance. And if that happens they should keep him. Maybe convince him to sign to a lesser contrat (money-wise) so that they could maybe land another big player in free agency..liiiiike chris bosh???
I don't see Tmac staying in Houston after this season either. He's going to go ring chasing like Artest is my guess.
But he has not kept his mouth shut, he has been undermining both Morey and Adelman by taking his case to the media. I am sure they are tired of his act, and the funny thing is, he doesn't seem to realize or even care. Let's see how it plays out, but if history is any indicator of future results, then expect him to begin whinning as he sits, or doesn't play much. I mean after all the man "Needs his touches"...right? DD
He doesn't need to apologize, humble himself, mature, none of that stuff! All he needs to do is play the way he played before he got hurt and everything will resolve it self. If he plays as good as he did prior to last year, the Rockets will resign him!
Agree with you on this one. When you pay for Tmac, you also are paying for things you don't want. His salary is high enough but he's not even close to that amount...
