I don't understand how Adelman or Morey is being unprofessional? To me they are being very professional, they have been completely conistent in saying "We want Tmac back when he is completely healthy" How is that unprofessional? DD
They are doing due diligence... Why let the guy effect the games when he should be getting better with practice? If he were to play and we lose 3 out of the 4 games, you guys would ask why did we let him play. The offense would slow down and some would ask why wasn't the ball moving.
i cant believe anyone would still take tmac's word over the coaching staff! mac is always bull shi*ing saying he is ready then he gets hung on the rim, quits on the team, and shuts it down! dude is soft! i completely understand working him through practices! make him prove to the team he wants to help. the only reason mac wants on the court is because he is about to take a $13mil paycut!
I would like to hear more of a timeline for the "process" because I'm sure the "process" at some point involves him playing a game. From those remarks, it doesn't sound like they are even close to that point yet.
But there is no actual "Timeline" for the human body, the timeline is "When he is healthy" And that only happens, when it happens. Maybe patience is needed from Tmac and his fans. DD
No, thats the 'fan' thing to do. By professional, meaning pertaining to business, getting him 100 percent healthy and learning from mistakes is the professional thing to do.
Because its coming from a more tmac then rocket fan, maybe not saying. the desire to win game have blinded a lot of fans, thinking he will be the one.
I think that most people want him back sooner is because we need a closer. He can't be a closer if he is not healthy. I think Tracy will return late December or early January if he continues to attend practice and train hard. If not, then February for sure, that is still a lot of time to help the team or affect it.
If you ask me it just seems that RA wants tracy to come back 100% healthy, he doesnt want ANY set backs and wants tracy to play the whole season with little to no missed games. hes being extra cautious and i dont blame him after the stunt tracy pulled last season. id probably do the samething.
The doctors give their opinions then the coaches watch how he plays in practice. And when they see him exploding to the rim, running up and down the court unhindered. He will play when that happens, until then, he gets to continue getting healthier in practice. DD
Well last season, Rick made the decision to play him, not Tracy, so how did T make the decisions last season. He played on a shocking leg when the coaches told him to, he didnt decide to play when the coaching staff didnt want him to
So they both mishandled last year then, and this year the organization said...enough, we are going to do it the right way.... I applaud them for making sure he is healthy.....they are protecting the team, and Tmac.....at the end of the day it is what is best for everyone. Sometimes you just have to do what is right. DD
The majority of Rocket fans who support T-Mac want to see him play because they believe he can help this team out. Yes, there is a possibility that he doesn't make us better. It's also just as possible that he can improve the team. Especially if he is actually healthy. We're 9-8, not 14-3. It won't hurt to give him a shot when he is ready.
Agreed. As much as some of the fans and Tracy himself want him out on the court, its probably best to wait. If Tracy comes back and perform similar to the way he returned last year...it will not only affect the team but it will also affect Tracy himself (financially in the future). "Patience is virtue"
The question IMHO is not if McG can explode one play, but what happens the next few trips up'n'down the court. What is the recovery in game; and game-to-game. Therein is the TMc conundrum to resolve (again IMHO).
