i don't expect mcgrady back anytime soon after reading this. guess clutch's source is right. just wish they would just come out and say it already so we don't have this uncertainty in regard to mcgrady's status.
yep . true.. but looks like the rockets dont want to announce that in public because it might piss off t-mac .. that might lead to furthr ramifications.
Tim Grover promised Tracy would be dunkin' like his Toronto days. Bullard said he talked to Rick and Rick said 'we will put him out there when he is ready' Well, after all those articles, etc it seems like his health is not an issue anymore. If the team is done with him, just give him a chance to play somwhere else because they guy needs and deserves it.
his health has been fine. health was never the issue. his own doctor cleared him since the summer. this is more of a basketball decision to rick (you can read b/t the lines when he brings up things like minutes, what kind of role... and it appears he doesn't want to deal with that b/c we have a phlethora of wing players already). and i definitely respect rick's decision if he feels mcgrady no longer helps the team. then let tmac know and we need to move on. but the longer you sit mcgrady, he will eventually open his mouth to further express his feelings. and it could get downright ugly between the two parties.
Right, they did the same thing last year...he was in good health...and the surgery was less invasive, he was saying how great he felt...then he goes and tried to play himself into shape and does more damage. Now, one year later, he's a bit older, coming off a tougher surgery, and is trying to come back earlier than the time tables were set before the surgery...meh, yeah it must be that Adelman is trying to teach him a lesson...that's it. BTW, how can you possibly say health is not an issue...nobody on this board really knows what's going on with Tmac's health, yet you constantly talk about it like you know the absolute truth. Hell, Tmac himself couldn't tell how much more time he needed to rehab last year...now look at him.
he LIMPED all season last year. his health was an issue. again, this is more of a basketball decision rather than health.
It was more an on and off thing wasn't it? And of course, he said he was back to his old self...then a month later had to shut it down for the year... Claiming he's back(hey he said it, it must be true!!!!) then talking to the media before the team about his year ending decisions...last year wasn't a good one. http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1510/t-mac_says_he_feels_back_to_old_self/ http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1515/adelman_i_had_no_idea_t-mac_was_out/
i posted videos of him LIMPING even when he took his 2 week hiatuses. those weeks off helped lower the pain/soreness, but they came right back. so again, he was never healthy and always had pain in his knee. and he ALWAYS limped. the new ESPN article stated he is feeling great with the knee. the chron reported earlier he had no experienced pain in his knee for months. and there is no indication coming out (after 4-5 practices since 11/23) that his knee appears to be a problem. so pain-wise, it's not a problem. again, jon feigen stated in his article that it's more of a basketball decision: what role is he going to play, how many minutes... adelman said he hasn't fully decided that. and if he has no idea of how to incorporate tmac, then he's right in doing what he's doing. you don't just throw a guy out there, give him a bunch of minutes, and expect him to assert himself into a brand new style of basketball. again, i'm sure there are some "healthy-related" issues like being in game shape, being able to play at the NBA pace for long periods of time (he hasn't done these things for about 10 months now). but it's not the knee pain/soreness. it's not simply tracy looks good, he looks healthy, well let's play him. by what adelman is saying, that is not the case.
The only people who are obsessing about his status are this board. I don't think many other people really care that much and are trying to enjoy the season.
