I think McGrady is plenty Mature. Anyone who can drop 40 in the NBA on a consistent basis is mature mentally. However, his twiggy body breaks easily. Tough it up, or quit.
Nah dude! I disagree. Watch the Its on me interview with steven a smith and you will see the dramatic and immature behavior all for yourself. $20 mil a year? They say you get what you pay for. That expression is true when you talk about Mac/PC debates, but in T-Mac's case he totally disproves the saying. I wouldn't put it past T-mac to try to manipulate the mind of Yao since the day he got to houston. T-mac saw the potential of Yao and was worried he would reach a level of stardom that he himself would never reach. So he befriended him like he was doing Yao a favor by helping him to adjust to a new culture. But in fact, was instilling the notion that he would always be the leader of the team. That seems like the American way. Take advantage of the weak minded to get what you want. So how mature is T-Mac really?
AK actually looked good in the early 2000s before he got that fat contract extension, warranting him getting that fat extension. Sloan went so far to say AK was the most multi-talented player he coached. Ever since he got that extension, he's been slowly reducing to crap. Truth in that Sloan makes his players better. I remember Shandon Anderson was with the Jazz and that guy could score on post ups at will because Sloan's system put him in situations where he had the advantage. When Shandon became a Rocket, I didn't see that as much and he became more of a perimeter player, regressed in my mind.
You want to give the Jazz T-Mac and not receive D-Will or Boozer back? Let me make sure I am clear....you want to give them a core of T-Mac, Boozer and D-Will???? Are you a Jazz fan?
lets fighting love! lol....people saying t-mac can get arenas and butler, d-will and ak, lebron? Are you kidding me. Take a look at what teams got when they traded iverson, carter, garnet, etc.
i did this three team deal let me know if you like this.... Chicago, Houston, and New Jersey. all three teams are struggling and need to make a change... Houston sends Tracy McGrady to New Jersey and Shane Battier and Kirk Synder to Chicago New Jersey sends Jason Kidd to Houston and Vince Carter to Chicago Chicago sends Ben Gordon and Joe Smith to New Jersey and Tyrus Thomas and Andres Nocioni to Houston This trade works. our lineup Kidd/Alston/ Head/James/Francis Nocioni/Wells/Landry Scola/Thomas/Hayes Yao/Hayes/Deke IR Novak and Brooks I would do it give up T-Soft, Shane, and Synder and get Kidd, Nocioni, and Thomas
LOL Jerry Sloan would die of a heart attack if the Utah Org. traded for T-mac.. T-mac is un teachable and Jerry Sloan has so many set plays that T-mac would die.
Your trade advocates trading T-Mac. Your trade will not work. Here is why it won't work. (one or more of the following may apply to your particular trade, and it may have other flaws not listed below.) (x) Team receiving T-MAC is rebuilding and want expiring contracts and/or draft picks (x) No team will build around injury prone T-MAC as the best player on their team (x) The players you are trading for have a higher value that T-MAC ( ) You overvalue T-Mac's trade value ( ) You undervalue the trade value of the young player on a rookie contract with high potential ( ) You think that mike James has positive trade value (x) You overvalue Shane Battier's trade value Specifically your trade fails to account for ( ) No Team will trade their best player for T-Mac ( ) Team has a better player than T-MAc at that position already ( ) Trade is not possible because of CBA restrictions (x) Team is rebuilding therefore would have no need for T-MAC ( ) The Team will actually be worse off after this trade ( ) Gilbert Arenas has a higher trade value than T-MAc, therefore washington will not even trade them straightup (x) If New Jersey is trading Jason Kidd, that means they are rebuilding, therefore they would want expiring contracts/young players/draft picks ( ) Kobe/Lebron/Carmelo/ Any other player that is the best player on their team has a higher trade value that Tmac Furthermore, this is what I think about you: (x) Sorry dude, but I don't think it would work. ( ) This is a stupid trade, and you're a stupid person for suggesting it. ( ) I'm going to find out where you live and burn your house down!
What do you mean to make T-Mac do his best? Team wise or individual stats? He can score 30 pts a game but Rox will win 19 game the season. Or sit him for his excused injury and play him occasionally when we face a weak team.
Can't agree more. We'd better get back AT LEAST Williams or Boozer if we are giving up McGrady. If people complain about McGrady being soft.. imagine the first time AK cries. I'm a fan of his game, but he is not the type of guy that is going to push us over the top. We should hold on to McGrady unless we get a real deal in return.
NO!
so horrible idea....
The jazz will never let go of D-Will, and Kirilenko alone is not worth it.
You want a trade??? Hit up Chicago, Atlants, or maybe Washington.
Chicago for Gordon, Hinrich, and Thomas
Atlanta for Joe Johnson and filler -OR- Josh Smith, Josh Childress, and Marvin Williams
Washington for Caron Butler, Nick Young, and Adray Blatche (but this is the weakest trade possible)
A trade for Gilbert is very very unrealistic, and it would be stupid on our part
