just watch how he plays when he returns,If he break the chemistry,it is better for him to practice on the bench
With all due respect, I just find people like you revolting. Your whole persona around here is based more on being the "I told you so" guy. The fact that you stick to this even after being proved *staggeringly wrong* just makes you kind of pathetic. Your embarrass yourself over and over again. Guess what? You're another middle aged white man watching younger black men do things you can't do. That's how important, unique and special you are. On top of that you're making it out that obsessively braying about the same three things is some kind of noble calling. You are essentially a donkey with a keyboard and you want a big pat on the back for it. No thank you. I'll leave the "missions" to you, Don Quioxte. Maybe some fine basketball organization will hire you someday.
LMAO. First of all, I'm only half white. Second of all, LMAO. Third, not that it matters, but I played on the Olympic Development Soccer Team when I was 17 and our high school won two straight state championships and was ranked 4th in the country by USA Today (Winston Churchill HS, Potomac, MD). I had a number of guys that I played with who ended up in the MLS (Judah Cook, David Hayes, the latter whom I traveled with to England and Ireland while on the U-17 ODP Team). I also played sports year round throughout my life even though soccer was what I played most. I never felt the need to defend my background in sports but there you go. I'm also 32, so just about middle-aged. You got that part right. Also read my last response to you. It applies again. LMAO
Wow, it's an awesome insight into your psyche that you felt you had to share your sports resume with everybody. Awesome!
Nah, I got nothin to hide. You were the one that attacked me. I may not always have a rosy outlook on things but I definitely try my best to avoid attacking people on a personal level. I don't know any of the people on here so I don't judge them by what they say about basketball. When I was a teen, the internet wasn't as big so I'm still learning about this blogging culture or whatever you wanna call it. I've definitely learned you have to be able to laugh at things. By the way, I found a pic of you as a kid, you angry little fella:
Aww, I'm sorry if you felt personally attacked. If it will make you feel any better, you can now tell us what kind of car you drive and what your SAT score was, etc. I'm on a "mission," remember.
I'm actually amused at how riled up you are. I'm not that upset. Yea, I did feel a bit challenged by what YOU WROTE a few posts up but I said my piece. You can go through this whole thread and see that I didn't attack anybody on a personal level. Just like you don't agree with me, I didn't agree with a lot of them. I didn't need to try to insult them though. What does that say about you? Isn't it usually people with low self-esteem that try to insult others?
What part of "I think you're a braying jackass" don't you get? I am not the one making horrible predictions over and over again and somehow wanting credit for your basketball acumen. "I was right about Luther Head"
Hey, I get your take on me. Let's get back on topic. I shouldn't have bit. I apologize to all for the derailment.
Well obviously the disclaimer to that "supposed to contend" status was a 7-6 MVP contender named Yao Ming. You're making it sound like the team last year was a disappointment, when the fact is they got the 2nd highest win streak in NBA history and 4rth seed in one of the most competitive western conference ever with out a max player by their side 16 out of 30 teams make the playoffs but in the west that means 8 teams had 50 wins or more. To downplay Tmac's influence, performance and leadership last year is just plain revisioinist history on your part, and your entire post deserves a big "fail" IMHO
We didn't even barely make the playoffs. We were fighting for home court advantage. How many teams can say that whentheir best player go down? I'll admit it as well, I didn't think we would make the playoffs when Yao went down. Everyone understands that it's a team game, but no way the Rockets would have even sniffed for a playoff spot if Tmac tanked the season after Yao went down.
Rockets lose in the first round, it's Tracy's fault. Rockets win the title, great team effort. makes sense.
There is only one poster on this board that I have seen dismiss the Rockets' run to the playoffs last year with such disdain: BrooksBall. Of course, it is no coincidence that the same poster categorically and unequivocally proclaimed that the same Rockets had ZERO chance of even making it there. Sorry BB, but this is what we keep trying to tell you: you've got to learn to take some time to think through things before making outlandish predictions (see: "you will never see an explosive/dominant McGrady again for more than one quarter; in fact, you might see a handful of explosive moves in an entire season"). And when you are proven wrong, learn to accept your mistake and move on, instead of further ridiculing yourself by doing things like dismissing the Rockets gaining home advantage without their best player on the wings of a 22-game winning streak as nothing more than a footnote in history. Like I've told someone else recently: only fools think their opinions are infallible.
How did I miss this lil tid-bit of joy? what exactly is Rafer's 'norm'? 38% FG 35% 3PT...10 ppg, 70 sumthin % FT? whooohooo, can't wait for that.
Its pretty hilarious. From BMoney's "your a middle aged white guy watching young black men do things you can't" to BrooksBall recapping his athletic accomplishments. Only in a T-Mac thread. Only in a T-Mac thread!
I'm sure they are. If it was my personal web site I'd be whacking the haters with extreme prejudice too.
