He wa ******* unstoppable tonight. He had the jumper and 3s going all game long, and was consistently going to the hoop, and to the line, and got jacked out of some more fouls. he was following his owm misses working hard on the offensive glass. Just an amazing game for tracy. his shot cooled off a little after halftime, or he could have scored 50. When he is scorching like that, not even Kobe is as good. I think we saw playoff Tmac tonight, if that wasn't it, lookout Jazz.
i think he would finish better (like v. hornets) if he didnt try all out as much in the first half v. the suns but he had too b/c no one else stepped up until the 2nd half.
the back prevents that. its sad but it is what it is. if no back problems, u would see this almost nightly and he'll be easily the best player in the L. but back problems are huge. he has to conserve his body.
i hope tmac doesnt think the hard work is done and goes back to unmotivated when the playoffs start WE ARE STILL THE UNDERDOG!
McGrady is clearly shifting out of "wake me up for dinner" mode, and into "badass/MVP" mode. He was facing the same or tougher defense that he's faced all year, against a team that he has played poorly against recently, and he just kept attacking. Relentlessly, in Every. Single. Way. He wanted it, and it was obvious. I'm feelin good about the playoffs...
well even 2 yrs ago, he had 2 "bad" games to his playoff standards. in game 5, he shot 10-25, but ended up w/ 25, 8, 7 in game 7, he shot 10-27 for 27, 7, 7 even if he shot 40%, he has a team now to make up for that. but to show u dont expect sub 20 pt games at all n the playoffs.
