that means nothing, tmac could have said he wanted to be al aker next year and they still wouldnt respond, they arent going to let any outside stuff sidetrack them right now and make it story out of it, it doesnt mean it didnt bother them.
They may not have said anything but I bet you at least a few Rockets upon hearing Tmac's comments shook their heads and maybe rolled their eyes. You heard that much in Artest last night when he refused tobelieve tracy would say that. He even went so far as to say that was not Tmac but an imposter. Still even with that this board is blowing even more out of proportion than I thought. It was a dumb thing to say. Tracy says dumb thins sometimes. Tracy considers self a Rocket and doesn't believe they can win it all without him. That is not the worst thing in the world or even in the woorld of Tmac folly.
Everyone acts like Tracy said the worst thing on Earth. Remember Kobe basically bashing Andrew Bynum to some random fans, and also saying he would rather play on Pluto then be on the Lakers. Now all is good and everyone loves him in LA. Honestly, I think there are people here who would rather the Rox be mediocre next year but not have Tracy on the team, then to have him return and be a big part of a championship team. Its mind boggling how deep the hatred runs for this guy. Any true rox fan should know the best case scenario is for the team is to have Tracy return and play great. Either that helps the team win which is a plus, or it pumps up his trade value which is a plus. Imagine what a well playing Tmac would get you at the trade deadline next year with his expiring deal, versus what a recovering Tmac might get you this summer. Its not like we are getting a Billups or Granger type player this summer while other teams dont even know if Tracy will ever play again. Root for Tracy to return to superstar status and if he is traded so be it, and if he isnt so be it. Either way the Rox benefit.
t-mac can do nothing to help the rockets now but he still gets money from the rockets to help him buy some fans.
Not really. The puzzling thing is how quickly so many seem to have forgotten the stunt he pulled a few months ago. And by "forgotten" I mean "intentionally look the other way and pretend he can do no wrong."
there is an over and under thing going on if this thread will reach 40 pages.. I say keep it going and lets see if it reaches that mark . BTW What is the record for most pages in a single thread?? Does anyone know??
Agree with everything you said except one thing. Don't you think the Rockets would consider keeping him if he is healthy and playing well than trade him away. Im saying If he is playing well keep him and use his expiring contract instead of trading it away and giving another team a healthy T-Mac who can dominate and an expiring contract that runs out next season.
OK, It is nothing about reality, honest , loyality, star-hater, 20M$,.... It is something about "Rockets Heart" . T-mac , do you have it ??
If they were trying to trade ANYONE....even say Artest....by Tmac announcing it, it hurt the TEAM's ability because it changed their position. Your opinions and understanding of situtations are proven to be substandard, come on.....at least attempt to have a remedial understanding. If you have been a fan as long as you have, who got called for charging in the EC playoffs that knocked the Rockets out? DD
We really shouldn't care about what this guy says...in fact always the opposite happens. "Feels good to be out of the 1st round!" Pistons win next 3 games. "Its on me!" Lose again in the 1st round then Tracy sarcastically says "It's my fault" "I'm back!" Bucks game, failed dunk, out for the season. So maybe we have a chance tonight?
Should ignore him and keep this stuff on the downlow. He's stirring up drama even when he's out for the season. Negative energy and vibes. Quash that ****. Drop him like a hot potato
Agree w/ T-Mac. The Cavs ain't shiet. I'm tired of hearing Doug Collins in his whiny voice licking LeBron's man berries. LeBron's fundamentals this, LeBron's fundamentals that, referring to his....jumpshot? LOL. Horse*****. Where was LeBrick's jumper when he got shut down by Artest and Battier, with a big goose egg in the assist column? Cavs are a one man team. Really, how much different is that team than the one that got SWEPT* by the Spurs? I used to like Mo Williams, until he was daily christened as the "savior" of the Cavs by the LE(Bron)SPN hype machine, the missing piece to their championship puzzle, and he bought into his own press. And then his crying and b****ing and moaning his way onto the Allstar team just clinched it. Why not show some humility like D-Rose, or Aaron Brooks? F the Cavs. F the Lakers too, cheating their way into Pau Gasol. But they are legit, the cheatin' bastards. If we'd have had everyone healthy, with our Big 3, we could've given them a nice little humbling. *That was a sweet one-man dismantling of the Pistons that year, though.
