Where less money is the most that team/s are offering?

I can see that happening. Tracy seems mentally weak...once he realizes he can't be the man anymore he'll quit. There's no way he'll play 2nd fiddle(or 3rd...)...he tried that with Yao the first year and he played horribly...after he started jacking up shots in 'his' rhythm he was better...only problem is he simply not that good anymore.

I hope he plays well in the Knicks this season and ended up getting pay.

Knicks next year, featuring Joe Johnson and T-mac

Here's an excerpt from the NY Post article:

McGrady hinted he'd sign for a midlevel ($5.9 million) or biannual ($1.9 million) exception to play with James.

"Don't get me wrong, if I come back healthy and playing well, we're going to do some negotiating," McGrady said. "What I'm saying, if LeBron and Dwyane come and pair him up with Stoudemire or Bosh, I know I'm not going to get the big bucks.

"But," McGrady added, "save a little for me."

My guess is he'll look to "settle" for an MLE deal if he can play a complementary role on a championship team, similar to what Artest is doing on the Lakers.

And to be fair, McGrady said similar things while still with the Rockets earlier this season - he'd take less money to stay with Houston, money isn't the issue anymore, a championship is, etc.

Anyway, it's a way too early for McGrady to be talking contracts or taking the Knicks to the playoffs IMO. But that's T-Mac.

Yeah, maybe I was too cryptic. He might as well say he'll take less money, because that is a fact, no matter where he plays.
