it's a mistake. two weeks off is nice but another 3 would be even better. we don't need him right now. keep him out until at least the allstar break. i'd rather let his injuries heal 110% rather than have him come back at 90%.

Fair point but I have to disagree. Tmac is a starter, I would definitely moniter his minutes, but you can't take a players role especially a star out because of injury. I think the Rockets need to use this time to develop a good chemistry back with the starting 5. I feel if you know Tmac will be starting come playoff time, he should be starting now. You can't have 2 of your 3 best players come off the bench.

Good news if he is completely healthy. We've squecked by too many games we should have won.

Barely winning over a depleated Utah and Denver teams are minor triumphs to be sure....and we lost to the Lakers when they weren't at full strength.

A lot of people would be impressed at our play of late...while the team has played better, it's clear we've missed T-mac and Ron Ron.

With the cupcake schedule coming up for the next 8 or 9 game you might be right actually.

I'd rather him come back after the all-star break just to give him more rest.

Somebody to go to when Yao is on the bench??????? What the hell is wrong with you people? You guys make it sound like we can win a damn championship with the team on the court right now. If you haven't noticed, the offense gets really bad when Yao is on the bench. Bill and Clyde state it EVERYTIME Yao gets a breather.

ugh what more could t-mac possibly add to our already great offense and team chemistry? von wafer is freestyling on everyone.

i don't want t-mac playing like his "old self". i want t-mac playing like VON WAFER. don't be fooled. T-Mac getting a high number of assists is BAD for the team. yes you heard that right. T-Mac getting high assists just means he's holding onto the ball while everyone's watching. we don't need that T-Mac. Adelman's offense creates for itself.

this is almost like the situation the Pistons are in. Everyone knows Iverson is ruining their team chemistry, but since he's a surefire HOF noone wants to tell him anything. if we're going to be even better than we are now, T-Mac has GOT to watch tapes of Von Wafer and start playing like him. We need a SG who can hit the open shot and slash to the hoop, which is why Von has been so great. unfortunately i don't think T-Mac will prove me wrong.

You guys are unbelievable. Our superstars are working hard to come back to our team strong and you're complaining about chemistry issues? Do you really think Von Wafer can hold the fort down for the entire season? A few good games and you lose your minds.

You forget the pillars we have built this team upon. Once we're healthy, then the real steamrolling will be begin. Ron and McGrady and Yao. These are the three men who will be carrying this team. Not Rafer Alston and Von Wafer.

    What a riot :D

this is the dumb post rookie! t-mac knows what he have to do, i want t-mac playing like t-mac not a role player like von wafer (hes playing very well and im very happy as a fan). I've have notice on this board a lot of peeps do not read every post nor every news thread. all joking aside alot of peeps on this board don't know **** about bball. dd , brooks guy and a few others are the only one i can relate to. everyone else just don't get it but hey its just a forum. the team we have on the court now will not make it in the playoffs period. a healthy jazz (hate them ) sa and lakers we have to worry about....... i love this team and i will forever be a fan. no one perfect.

    go rockets!!!!!!

i dont think its too hard he came off the bench last year for a few games when he was returning from injury I am pretty sure he will do the same.

also from coach adelman's comments from a different thread it appears that he is going to have artest and mcgrady earn their minutes through practices before just throwing them back in since they are both all stars with the team playing as well as it is. i think that is the proper course of action.

once everyone is fully healthy it will be great since we have so much talent in the backcourt and wing positions (well rafer is the weakness) that no one should be having to log heavy minutes consistently if there are no more injuries the rest of the season. everyone should be fresh come playoff time.
