What if TMac had Kobe's injury?

I think he'd grimicing after every shot and letting everyone know how his pinky is really affecting his game and explosiveness.

Sorry but his history with the Rox would back my opinion

I'm just curious because I'm a new member here... Is this how everyone reacted last year when we sucked in the beginning of the season? People... calm yourselves.

Relax, T-Mac has plenty of good games, too, and he's even had some in this young season. Sometimes fans lose the ability to remember back more than 48 hours. The season just started. Players have bad games. They go through funks, or slumps, or whatever you want to call them. Let's not call the mortician just yet.

I'll tell you now, you should get out while you can. This place will suck the life out of you. Every single bad game or performance is met with trade this guy, or give up on the coach. Every single time.

McGrady has/had the flu. He'll be alright. You saw how well he did against Boston, he can still turn it on. Although I agree that if he's feeling real bad he should definately limit his minutes.

I agree with that, i think that the western conference will be pretty weak this year. I don't see a team in the West winning 60 games. The only real threats against the rockets are the lakers, jazz, and maybe suns.

I say if by the trade deadline, the team is underperforming trade McGrady for a point guard who can distribute the ball, because Rafer is not going to pan out as a true point guard.

If we make the playoffs, if Yao and McGrady are both injured we may not even make it to the postseason.

What if Tmac is just out of shape, and not really hurt?

That means he needs to play himself into shape...right?

excatly right. remember he scored 22 Thunder, than 26 against Celtics and than 30 against Portland.

Gotta bounce back and get it rollin'

how do you explain the limping still? the lakers announcers pointed it out repeatedly during the telecast.

he's probably isn't in the best shape (but he played 44 minutes v. portland and didn't seem fatigued). it has to still be the knee.

i hope he would just sit out a month and let it heal completely

He might be hurt, or he might be exagerating to cover for his being out of shape.

Either way, he is not himself.

this is where "thinking too much" comes in.

he cannot fake the limping if he does it ALL game and in EVERY game we have played. that takes too much work even for tracy. if he's that good of an actor, we should give him an oscar right now.

look, tracy is just back from injury. he'll be inconsistent. he was very efficient before the last 2 games. he's up and down. morey said they're considering whether tracy should just sit out, heal up, so he doesn't hurt himself and the team in the long run.

but i dont' think he's exaggerating anything. dude moves TERRIBLE. if the opponent's announcers can recognize it, it is what it is.

and he doesn't look that out of shape. like i said, he doesn't seem fatigue at all in any of the games i've seen where he has to ask to be out. so i think he's in shape enough to play.

    but yes, he's not himself.

He played 44 min vs Portland and looked pretty fresh (que comment about his lack of picking up Brandon Roy here) the whole game.

I don't think it's an "in shape," issue at this point.

    Worrisome.

Now that we have confirmation via Morey that his injury is something worth reevaluating, I have no problem sitting him out.

    Don't sit out T-Mac!

It's amazing how one doctor visit can make him feel so much better.

Looked good last night, he was actually moving and staying active. Notice when he actually plays he doesnt whine about injuries or lay on the floor forever waiting for sombody to pick him up. Anyway he was a different player tonight and thats what we need.
