Please, never ever ever post on this board again...

I mean I understand reacting to a loss, but this is redonkulous. Look, Tmac and Yao aren't at 100%, but at least we're not the Spurs...

But why don't we over react and call for a trade involving Tmac and Yao. I see it now, Tmac and Yao for Howard. Some idiot is going to quote me later on in this thread and say that it's a great idea....

When he won us games in the playoffs? Sure. Look, he's playing like crap, but people calling for his head are going too far. Who in our big 3 is playing well? Why aren't we calling Yao to sit out? Why not Artest?

Our best ball handler outside of McGrady can't make a shot to save his life, and never will demand a double team. Brooks is the only guy that can handle the ball that is a bright spot in this game. McGrady can at least handle the ball and demand a double team. How many assists did he have tonight? How many blown layups would've added to that?

Look at my previous posts regarding McGrady (aside from tonight), I have been very critical of him, but this loss was a bad effort from everyone. Yao's played poorly the past few games, and since he was injured at the end of the season "does anything change?"

it is right to blame him for this game. and it is not because of his knee. I mean he didn't duck because of the knee. He is sick or whatever that means. If he can't contribute THAN STAY AT HOME.

    2 and 3 points for a 22 ppg guy?

I defend T-Mac a lot. But this is too much to stomach. I gave him a pass for the Clippers game. No excuses for this, though. It's not just that his shot is off. Against good defenses, his style of play will not work.

He does everything on offense in slow motion. Look how lacadaisacally he comes off screens or cuts to the basket. Note also how when Bryant has the ball, he'll attack into teeth of the defense, whereas T-Mac always looks to go around the defense.

No kidding, little things add up. Tipping point was Lakers scored in a row, while we got hammered on the other side, compounded by untimely TO.

When the Batman returns, we can have Artest and Batman wrap around Kobe like a snake all game long, that will change the complexity of the game.

To me, no having a backup to Yao showed negative effect again. The small ball doesn't work when Gasol and Bynum both on. To me this is the key right now. Yao's poor performance IMO has to do with that too.

I don't know about you people but Tmac is a cancer to this team. I say time to trade him. The guy is a whiny b**** with so many excuses.

I agree with the poster. we shouldn't get off his bandwagon, but he should sit until he's healthy.

Did I say either performance was acceptable? No. But the whole team lost this game not T-Mac. Artest shot like crap again, Rafer struggled after a hot start, and the bench let the lakers in the game in the 2nd quarter with careless turnovers.

Also one or two games in november isn't the end of the world. One of the problems in the GARM is people overreact to one or two games. This thread is a perfect example of that.

Just a reminder that we still have 75 more games to play.

Chill. T-Mac will come around and we will take the Lakers next time.

I am on the half glass full side. It's still early. I don't about you guys, coming into this game, I kinda know where the Rockets are compared with the Lakers. They are the better team right now, but we have potential if we iron the kinks out and get Deke signed just in time.

^He seems to play pretty well in the playoffs against elite defenses, unlike the rest of his teammates. One game doesn't mean anything, the Lakers will be blowing out the rest of the league in a similar fashion, they are a dynasty.

Wait until he gets healthy, then make judgement. I'm more worried about Artest right now.

I can't defend the guy anymore. He's just a shell of his former self. The sad thing about it is I think it's 80% in his head.

If the bench doesn't play like crap in the 2nd quarter and let Ariza and the 2nd unit get the lakers back in the game it might have been a different story.

Bill and Bull are calling for the truth to come out on the T-Mac situation...they're both convinced that something is wrong with him. I agree - sit him and let him rest if he needs it. We can win without him, but winning with him playing like complete ASS is hard.

He should have sat if he's sick. He should sit until he's healthy. Same with Yao (if something's wrong with him). We need them both healthy later this year. As bad as everyone's probably feeling right now, it's only made worse if you were expecting a W.

T-mac isn't the same player he used to be... he taken a step back from even last year....I would love to see him take a couple months off to get over his shoulder and knee issues...i underdstand there will always be something with this guy, but I just would rather see him be ready for the playoffs.

Yao needs time, he's a systematic player, he kind of needs to get in a groove, i don't see any issues with him getting back to his peak form.

Artest....I really think he needs to play more in the system, I feel he's doing whatever he wants out there...maybe trying to do too much.

Overall, this team needs more time to gel, they seem out of sync.....
