sigh, you know Yao's signature move? Shanghai shake. Not a lot of people make that move, hence his signature move. It doesn't mean HE makes that move all the time! Anyways, I am not sure if I should be arguing with someone who watches "highlights" on NBA.com and then assumes that those are all the moves made by the player in that game. If you took so much time to watch the highlights of all the 4 players, why don't you point to us at least 2 18 ft fadeaways by TMac per game so as to prove that he makes that shot a lot.

I've only see yal take his fadeaways when he's in the paint. He hasnt been playing in the high post lately, but when he does shoot from out there, its an ordinary jumper.

You have a bad habit of only reading part of my posts. This was the final line of that post:

"I know that fadeaways typically arent made and thus arent usually in highlights, but bbjai said he saw them in highlights."

My original contention was that not many players take the fadeaway 18 footer like tmac does. Theres no sense in checking tmac's highlights when we're talking about other players.

And even if he makes it, it still has a high degree of difficulty. He could easily get a better shot. You think he makes that shot "a lot". How do you define "a lot"?

lol ok i didn't read it but thats even funnier. So you know it is not usually shown in highlights but you still watched it and then reported that only one player took that shot...

You say not many takes as much as TMac, ok forget a lot, because I assumed that would be a reason for concern, but if you can't point out at least 1 per game then why is taking this shot even an issue?? I mean 18 ft fadeaway as we have agreed above is similar to a contested jumpshot and even if it was tougher, he doesnt take it nearly enough for you to complain about.

Yes...b/c thats the the poster said he saw (in the highlights) all those players shoot fadeaways from 18 ft and out within the past 5 days.

In order for my response to have any credibility, I need to base it on the same criteria as the other poster did (i.e. the same highlights; i'm assuming he used nba.com).

You're right...the past few games, he has been playing very well. But the past few games doesnt overwrite what he's done the past few years.

And btw, for me to point out at least 1 per game, that means I'd have to have all the games recorded. How many people here have all the games recorded?

its a great attempt to objectively examine TMac ...

unfortunately, TMac haters aren't impressed by facts, objectivity or the best interests of the Rockets.

    ditto fer the Yao haters.
