Well actually that quote is from last night's post game quotes section. Maybe it was said by T-Mac in another instance (as much as he's been hurt this year i wouldnt discount that)
To think more about it, how could our medical staff let him play the pacers game when his injury actually needs 5 weeks rest?
Yeah, you're probably right. I still don't think he was talking about this injury. I think he was talking about the chronic pain. Either way, it's 2 different injuries and that ain't good.
We still have the hope, the most important thing is who can we find to substitute TM.Sprewell? That need some cost, but he should know he also needs to prove he can play for next season. If we have lots of lost in this month, let us get ready for next season and rest Yao for a while. We still have 2-3 years for a championship. Go rockets, We are always with you.
And he scored 15 or 16 points at halftime on top of that As much as people call this guy soft, he's anything but.
Exactly. Well put. BTW isn't 5 weeks the rest of the season? I mean, I'm assuming we don't make the playoffs, and even if we do, can we get past the first round without T-Mac? I don't know, I hope we do, Go Rockets.
5 weeks - that puts TMac back for the April 15th game against Memphis. And only two more games after that.
I hope that T-mac's back injury get away from him completely this year, and then we can have big dream come ture next year.
wow, this sucks. like one poster mentioned, it's time to look at the draft now. I'm glad that JVG and Yao wont let the rox tank(Yao does not need to learn how to lose), but the chances are slim w/o Tmac. Really irks me that mediocre teams like the Lakers and Hornets might make it to the playoffs and the rox will miss out. Again.
LOL! I swear I was going to say the same exact thing, but given the solemn mood in this thread, I didn't want to crack a joke like that. I don't trust those LA doctors...there are alterior motives there, no doubt
Wow, I am in the car for three hours on my way to SA, thinking to myself... if somehow Mcgrady can get some rest and be able to suit up on Sunday, I think the Rockets can pull one out. Then I get to the in-laws get on the net and this is what I am greeted to. I am usually the most optimistic, never give up type of person when it comes to teams (Astros, Rockets, and Texans), but this season has been one of the toughest and most frustrating. At least when the Texans were bad, we knew they were bad, and knew all season. This Rocket squad not only had very high expectations, but was never really given a chance to gel this year. It seems like everytime they started to get going, something bad happened to them. Two examples- they started rolling and Yao goes down. They started playing well this past month and now McGrady is down. This has been the most frustrating season, because in my heart I know this team is good. Real good. Maybe not championship good, but I believe when healthy they are Western Conference Finals good. Anyway, I will be there on Sunday wearing my Rocket Red (havent decided if I am going to wear the Yao or McGrady jersey yet) and I will be supporting my team. These tough times will only make the championships the Rockets win later that much sweeter. now, back to making fun of John and Lance.....
Well I have to say...bionics and implants that are that good would raise serious ethical questions...how would having a bionic body part be any different from taking steroids?
I posted when they first signed him to the extension that they were taking a huge chance due to the fact that he had recurring back problems. Of course I was bashed for stating this. I sure hope as I did then that I am wrong, but it seems to be getting worse not better.
Guys, it's no the end of the world Healthy T-Mac+Beastly Yao+Lotto Pick = Great year next year. They've only been together for 2 years and idiots in the media like Steve Kerr are already writing them off.
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in all NBA cities, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Court, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight for all the boards, we shall fight in the paint, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender!!!!!(Winston Churchill credited) GO ROCKETS!!!!
