How many more times are you guys gonna make me post this? What? Over? Did you say "over"?!?! Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Ok, calm down for a sec. What are we going to miss Tmac and can we make up for it? Yao will have very very difficult time down there if the rest of guys are fooling around. If the rest can bring out 0.1 extra, then combine we might be able to make up for Tmac loss. Otherwise, Yao's stats will drop too. So it's really up the supporting cast. Yao please prove me wrong.
It's funny how everyone here is so concerned about this season while the real worry is if Tmac will ever fully recover from his back injuries. If not, then there goes our hope of winning a championship over the long hall.
Note to bench: It's the round, orange thingy with string hanging down from a perpendicular glass board with a white square painted on it.
In Clutch's article, it said Tmac's problem WAS NOT chronic. So Tmac should be ready to go by next season.
Mistake, he will recover from the injury he just sustained but not from his ongoing back problems. they are two different things.
First off lets take a deep breath and realize that even though we all thought this could be a championship season that no matter what happens we probally will not get there with all of the crazy injury problems we have had to deal with so far. I am gonna try to be a half glass full guy and point out three things to be positive about. 1. The Rockets always over estimate how long a guy will be out ie. Sura in fall 2004 Yao this seasonwith his toe to name two recent injuries 2. If we can somehow get it together and stay in this thing how much confidence will these guys be playing with come April 1st, it will be sick 3. If we fall out of the race than T-MAC's off season just started and that means more time off to get well and for these guys to make a title runin 06-07!
...and it ain't over now! 'Cause when the going gets tough... ... ... ... ... the tough get going! Who's with me? Let's go! We gotta take these bastards! Now we could do it with conventional weapons ... that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part. And we're just the guys to do it!
Does anybody think that if we miss the playoffs we can convince the Clippers to take our lotto pick and Juwan Howard in exchange for Maggette?
