Couldn't Adleman see that TMac was tired. We hadn't used any timeouts the entire 2nd half.

He should have called a timeout during every off possessions in the last 2:00min of the game just to get TMac some rest before he petered out.

So let me recap, everything boils down to, you don't like TMac because he says things like "Its on me" and "I ran out of gas"? Man get outta here. Take your pettiness elsewhere,

TMac does not dominate as much because first yes he is getting old, and second everyone has figured us out, shut TMac down and we lose, its that simple. As it has been pointed out here many times, even Kobe and Lebron does not get doubled and tripled that early and that often as TMac is. Not because TMac is better than them but because their role players are.

in a way, yes. assuming what he says reflects what he truly believes (how else do i get an idea what his mentality is?), it is his mentality that has made me stop being his fan some time ago.

does that take away my rockets fandom?

his physical decline (which makes him not worthy of a 20 mil player any more) is a whole other issue. every player will have this day. it's not unique to him. and like i said it's about the mileage. the thing is guys like you try to paint him as if he's the only great talent in history or blindly deny his decline. look at your posts. everything you can draw as your support happened sometime in the past years.

Stop bashing T-Mac, if it wasn't for his stunning performance we wouldn't be able to be so close down the strech.

As I said, this isn't on TMac no more, this is on the team, they're so terrified.

    I'll recap:

    1. Tmac did not want the ball in the 2nd half. He passed out of double teams before they arrived. Look more closely, it's a subtle difference. He was being mentally passsive.

    2. Tmac is a good player. I'm not debating that. The point is that he should have gone down trying. Shooting. Driving the paint. Commit an offensive foul. He didn't demand the ball. He shied away from the burden and responsibility in the 4th quarter.

    3. This isn't about askign him to be MVP for a season. Or MVP of the playoffs. Or even winning the series. I'm talking about laying it all on the line when you're down 0-1, with the series on the line, with 4 minutes left. Go down shooting. Go down driving. Go down trying your hardest. You don't go down by passing to lesser teammates. And he wasn't doubled all the time. He's not tough enough physically and mentally to nut it up for the last minutes and lay it out there.

That's what this is about. Win or lose. You go down with your best effort. Not what he gave us.

Man...............he played with absolute **** players tonight......players that would be a third string at best on the clippers..........

Mike Jordan would have never won **** with this team.................and he is the best ever..............

So.............he came out trying...........gave his heart and soul to keep this game close to the end with the suck players he plays with................

do better in the 4th quarter... get a field goal in the 4th... of course he could of played WORLDS better.... Just because he dominated for 2 1/2 quarters does not mean he is alleviated from the "ZERO BLAME" talk you apologists are spewing... Everyone was to blame in these two loses. And watch the tape of the 4th again... countless times were mcgrady had a one on one situation but blew it. He had an air ball three for goodness sakes in the 4th...

Now im not one of those guys who thinks he has "no heart" or is spineless... Im one of those guys who thinks he just isnt that good anymore and he just does not have the legs and the physical talent anymore... Now if thats due to prior injury or bad ofseason training... who knows.... but Mcgrady is what he is now.... A former superstar on the decline who as trouble carrying a team... Now, you cant hate him for it... but to say he has zero blame in game two's loss is going to far.....

Wow I am really tired of seeing these stupid threads. Really guy?? Tracy obviously played his ass off on an undermanned team without Yao and starting point guard Rafer. If you came up with an intelligent argument for different things that the Rockets could have done better during the game, you would get your point across way more efficiently than just venting because you were mad your team lost.

Try reading. I'm not mad we lost. I'm upset because our best player didn't go hard in the 4th quarter. That's been the point. Go down fighting. Go down shooting. Go down driving to the goal. Win or lose.

    But we didn't get that.

exactly. you know barkley was waiting to destroy tmac, but he couldn't.

he played the game and even he knew the best of all time would get tired by the 4th with all tmac did. he literally DID EVERY SINGLE THING THERE WAS TO DO ON THE COURT. nobody playing right now has to do what tmac is doing.

I know this has been pointed out before, but there is a definite pattern with these type of posts. Everyone has a line like this. A chance to redeem yourself in case your wrong when T-Mac/the Rockets win the next game?

You are so full of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even know where to start. A guy is one assist away from a triple double and has a number of blocks and you write this crap. He was worn the hell out after Utah ran at him all night and he had to do so much. Other guys just seem timid and afraid to shoot right now. Yeah, I would like to see more 4th quarter production, but its just not realistic when he has worked so hard all game, to expect him to have the energy to keep it up.

Where's Carl Landry? It seems he's not getting much playing time or he's not getting the ball when he does. Wish Aaron Brooks, and Bobby Jackson would take some more shots from 3 point range, etc. Seem scared to shoot, especially from outside. Luther Head seems like he nervous or something also, as he was totally off last night with major bricks.

Novak, I don't remember playing last night, but in the first game when he was in there he got hardly any shots and was a defensive liability. If he gets back in the game it needs to be for short durations as mainly a spot up shooter. Get him the ball to shoot if he's in there or else don't play him. Battier has not had near enough touches so he doesn't seem involved like he should. He's shot great when they've got the ball to him, so I don't know why they don't do that more.

Our guys just need to take there shots and play a more free flowing game. We need to make some free throws, that's killing us. Of course we need Rafer back. He is sorely missed. Hopefully he will return on Wednesday and be able to help, but I feel like that is probably rushing him back and he might not be able to.

Tracy can't do it by himself. It's unfortunate that were not only missing Yao, but also Rafer. Rafer (healthy) might add 10-20 points or more from his scoring and helping our offense flow better.

Also, Utah is probably as good as anyone in the west. It's unfortunate to play them first, and especially without our starting point guard. They might very well go to the finals, I think we would have been better off playing anyone but them.

I just really can't stand to read this junk about Tracy anymore. He played great, and just didn't get a whole lot of help. Utah got great play across the board, so don't put this on Tracy.

Also, this whole thing about him never advancing has become such an idiotic cliche that people just like to run off. These teams never would have even been in the playoffs if it wasn't for him, and he's always elevated his game.
