    your seriously joking right?
The guy played 43 minutes, he had 0 rest and he was up against one of the premier defenders in the NBA who was fresh.
Let me see option one: Jack up a flat shot and hope to God it will go in
Second Option: Pass to your team mate and take the It takes 5 mentality.

I honestly don' tknow if ANY of you play basketball. IF you bring it on both ends of the floor you'll be tired. Defence makes you TIRED. Remember a certain KOBE BRYANT who went tired against us? guess what happened that game?

He was the focal, the focus the main object the everything of the Utah Jazz defence. Cut the man some slack. Im sure if you were being paid 20 million you wouldn't be able to put up half the effort he did today.

Why is it always tmac the cry baby?

I never saw lebron or kobe or any other player in the league crying. Its always mcgrady with his stupid excuses.

This is the god damn playoffs, and he should wake up from his 20 Million USD dream.

TRADE THAT CRAPPY PLAYER. WE ARENT GOING ANYWHERE WITH HIM IN THE TEAM.

Wow. Get out. Seriously. The man gave it all tonight and he still catches ****. Give me a break. If you want to vent, vent on Kirilenko's flop on Bobby's game-tying three.

I think this reflects back to his off season training and his passion to be a better player. You can't wait to you get to the playoffs and think you can turn it on. This is what happens and you run out of gas. As you know the playoffs is a different animal. You have to prepare yourself during the offseason and thru the regular season so you don't run of a gas. This all comes back on the superstar.

I just hate to see TMac with a smile on his face at the end of the game. There is nothing to smile about. At one point the camera went from his grinning mug to Yao's, who looked absolutely distraught. Despite his limitations, I love that Yao hates to lose.

Yeah, it would be nice to see. What's the problem we simply couldn't rest Tracy for too long because our game suddenly crashed without him and Rafer cause nobody (only Aaron) was able to creat shots for himself and other players.

That in the 4th I really understand that he was tired, it is not even something strange for me. He just didn't get enough rest and damn they our fresh, long Kirilenko on him.....

I don't think it reflects his off season training at all. His played himself into shape this season well. Think about the only games his been tired. Its when its just him and the scrubs. Has he ever said his tired with Yao? (i can't recall one correct me if im wrong). His playing into a condition that is meant to be one part of a duo. You can't predict things like this. The fact of the matter is, we are playing a 14 game series in fact, Utah know ALL about T-mac from last season. They can work him out well, especially now without Yao

it's not that, if we want a great defensive player, we could just go ahead and get artest, FOR A MUCH CHEAPER DEAL. 20 million isn't small. not small at all. orlando gave him the max contract, so he can dominate on both ends for 4 quarters. orlando gave him that contract to play every game, every quarter, every minute, every second, he can, to play superstar level.

Utah wore Tmac down, that was their game plan they executed it and they won.

    Close the thread.

Tired is not an excuse to lose a playoff game. Everyone is tired at this point.

Yea, alot of us saw him passing out on those half-made double teams. The double team has not even committed yet and he passed it out. An un-committed double team won't get you alot of open shots on the dish.

TBH, TMac is a really good player but he just does not know how to carry a team. He gets paid like a leader but he is really nothing more than a role player.

A 44% career shooter (he misses more than he makes), won't win you any championships or MVP trophies in this league.

I cannot believe that Tracy led this team in every single statistical category, played 40+ minutes and still there are people who bash him.

I don't even wanna debate this. There is no pleasing some of you. I bet if you replace Tracy with Jordan, some of you guys will still nitpick on him.

Let's face it. We're severely undermanned and under-talented here. We're missing our best player for Pete's sake. One man cannot do it all.

There is no comparison. Its so many examples I can give you. But here's one, Tmac admitted last year he ran out of gas. If the same thing happen to MJ, you can bet the next year he would not run out of gas. That the difference between winners and losers.

Alot of us play basketball. But if you know how to WIN, then you know the other team is TIRED TOO!

You take advantage of their tiredness as much as they take advantage of yours... and guess what, the team that knows best on how to use that advantage will win the game.

Have you seen Hakeem play when he was tired roughly around the same age TMac is? He dominated in the playoffs even in double overtime.

    Tired is not an excuse.

Yea like Yao, when Boozer outleaped him and snatched the ball to get that crucial offensive rebound when we were down 96-97 in game friggin 7. 6 friggin rebounds by your 7 6 center in the most important game AND the OP has the b a l ls to diss TMAC after he laid it all there last night and want Yao to be the man??? YEA good luck

TMac is not and never will be in Hakeem's class as a competitor and a talent.

It is what it is- he was obviously worn down- he was short on his 3 pt. shot he knew it, he was looking to try to create, yes he could have drove into the lane and forced a shot over three long defenders- but face it he gave all he could give, I think that is honest and we have to respect that- without Yao we don't have anywhere else to go-

Tracy can't beat Utah- the Rockets have to beat Utah.
