Just heard on 610 with Rich and Matt that TMAC was in Vegas over the weekend with Chuck Hayes and other starts like Chris Angel, other NBA guys, celeberties, etc partying at the Wynn Hotel and Casino.

That is really nice....He was talking about getting rehab done and second opinions. Glad to see has time to fly to vegas and party hard instead of rehabbing hard for the 2nd half of the season....

I know some of you will say that he is allowed to do anything he wants on his break..yada yada yada...but come on....if you are hurt that bad where you think you need surgery, shouldn't your priority be to fix that kneee...The other thing that bothers me is that he DOES NOT CARE what people/fans think...I'm sure he knew that people would hear about this and question his heart..but he just doesn't care...

Just another mark against our favorite whipping boy....

anyways, if this has been posted, you can lock it..but I wanted to share what I just heard on the radio.....don't kill the messenger

wow bro relax.. McGrady's last game was against the Bucks which was last week i believe on sunday. He didn't play against the kings so basically he had a week and probalby 2 days off. Nobody on here knows what McGrady does 24/7 unless they are him. Get off the guys back and like he says which i believe him "if your a hater get on the bandwagon now because I promise you T-Mac will be back".

yeah it was mentioned briefly in one of the other threads.

obviously we cant control what he does but there was an extended break here and from what i was told recently the NBA forces teams to shut down over the break. outside of the people who go to the ASG weekend for stuff (like the media relations people) and of course GMs everyone else has to take a break.

team courts/facilities are all closed until I think today. so even if a team had no one participating in all star weekend (like the wizards) in any event or game they couldn't have a team practice per NBA rules.

so Tmac could have worked out on his own with his own trainer, but it would have to have been somewhere else (personal gym, 24 hour etc) but he didnt which is not a huge surprise of course. I wish he was seen partying locally at some place in Houston at least then we could believe that he worked out during the day and then had fun at night, but in vegas he probably isn't working out like Yao did a few years back.

Well at least he did something that people said he never does. He hung out with a teammate off the court. ;)

Nice to see 2 bench warmers have fun. But at least T-Mac isn't trying to get back on the court, that's good. As long as T-Mac isn't playing, the Rockets should be successful. That is all.

It's all-star weekend. Can't the guy have fun with some of his teammates? They have lives too you know. Artest was in the Bahamas, shouldn't he be working on his game?
