WOW, this is a travesty. if it was nash or chris paul id understand...but AI? I blame this on you clutchfan tmac haters. You benedict arnold-assfaces let two nuggets start over our 2 stars? and you're okay with it? i understand outsiders not liking tmac, but you guys too? wow, unbelievable
doubtful. coaches will vote for all of these guys before t-mac CP3 Deron Nash Dirk Boozer Amare Marion Davis
If he's not good enough to be voted in by the coaches, then he didn't deserve to start anyways. Missing the all-star game is what McGrady wanted anyways, so I don't have a problem with it.
McGrady isn't even an All-Star this season. I love the Rockets, I love McGrady, but if Mac makes it over Roy, its ludicrous.
T-mac doesn't deserve it this year, and even he says it. He won't be selected by the coaches especially since he doesn't want to be selected. I think it's great that the fans stopped voting for him and picked iverson instead. And I really like how T-mac handled this - he did it with a lot of class and honesty.
I doubt it. He didn't play much for the 1st half of the season and our record is poor. Besides, there are so many other excellent guards in the west. He probably won't get picked.
Iverson doesn't deserve it anymore than McGrady. He still doesn't play any defense, and he still has a pathetic basketball IQ. Paul, Nash, Deron, Baron, and maybe even Parker. Those are the guys who really got snubbed.
Really? Why Tmac is always doubled when he plays? I didn't see any other playes (except Kobe) have been defended like that!
My All Star Team: Yao Duncan Melo Kobe AI Reserves: Kaman Camby Boozer Paul Dirk Baron Davis Al Jefferson Nash Amare ---------------------- Deron Williams Tony Parker Josh Howard Honorable Mention: David West Brandon Roy
^^^ You realize, of course, that your team has about five players too many, right? And I'm not including the honorable mentions. I'm pretty sure ASG rosters have 12 spots.
Relax. I'm just saying that he was out for injuries a lot and we are only the 10th in the west right now. Whoever the coach is may prefer to pick his own players.
Calm down, dude, we still love McGrady (at least I do), but there are just some guard playing outstanding basketball this year for great teams, and they have been healthy all season. You could sort of see this coming. It doesn't matter anyways. It's just the All-Star game... let's just win games. If we do that, and McGrady plays as well as we all know he can, then not only will fans be happy with our team's success, but McGrady could very well make an All-NBA 1st or 2nd team... and that's a bigger honor than All-Star starter.
