wafer turned around to grab a towel.... no?

and as for artest laughing.... it was early in the game, i wont read too much into it, if we're down by 20 in the 4th, and artest laughed.. then its a different situation

the team probably has personality issues, i think rick is the problem, he calls his offense 'free flowing'.... kobe and lebron would be pissed off to no end if they played in his offense

you need to coordinate a star player, JVG fed every possession through yao ming, you expected 25+ a night from yao, everynight

this offense has no star player, he wants everyone to score... and realistically, it's a bit ridiculous, either feed the ball through tmac or feed it through yao, at least then you'll know what to expect when you watch a rox game, not this garbage where our big 3 can't even sum up 50

5 out of 6 without T-Mac. T-Mac returns and you get the NY game and last night's abomination. At this point getting rid of T-Mac is addition by subtraction.

What I remember is McGrady sitting out and the team going on a winning streak without him by running the offense and moving the ball.

Feed the ball through T-mac so he can go 1-30.

We ran the offense through Yao when T-mac was out and we won 5 out 6 games. Soon as T-mac get's back Yao is no longer that star player and loose every other game.

Agree 100%. He should have just layed it up actually if you ask me, off of either leg, but I think I get why he tried to dunk it off of his left leg. I think with all of his talk of "being back to his old self," "i'm feeling good," etc etc, he's tried to mentally psych himself out that his left knee is fine. This was a chance to mentally get over the injury, to exorcise that demon, to prove to himself that he's on his way back, to back up his words. The demon won.

Maybe he is a bum, but that's not his biggest problem. His biggest problem is the obvious one: he's still recovering from injury/surgery. That doesn't make him a bum. Was Bo Jackson a bum for sucking after he hurt his hip? Was Ralph Sampson a bum for sucking after his knees gave out? Was Domanick Davis/Williams a bum for disappearing after his knee gave out? Injuries suck, what can you do?

Bottom line though, we're going nowhere this year. If T-Mac returns to form sometime this season, I'll let myself be pleasantly surprised. Hell, if he returns to form even next season, I'll be ecstatic (I'm just talking 2007-08 form here). But it could be that he's just done, just like those other guys I mentioned.

Actually the T-Mac/Yao era is done. T-Mac is fragile, Yao is too slow/soft. I'll still watch though, for the same reason I post on here, bored with no life. :p

alot of players do this, it's just instinctual. when i play and drive in traffic, whether i am touched or not i automatically yell as if i am struggling to get the ball off. i don't even really mean to, just happens.

Ahh, sorry. Wesley didn't even hit the rim. Damn, it barely hit the bottom of the backboard. That was so bad, it doesn't even qualify as an airball.

TMac was bad but at least he hit the rim.

Plus the degree of difficulty was much higher w/ TMac's. Missing a reverse dunk isn't really uncommon.

But a standard uncontested layup not even hitting the getting high enough to touch the rim ...I don't beleive I've EVER EVER EVER seen that. That's pathetic.

Thanks to whoever posted this cause it's about the only thing that made me laugh today.

But wesley was never a high flyer in the league, T-mac was an all star and participated in the dunk contest.

The JJ Redick airballed layup was worse than Wesley. It didn't hit anything.

God, what the hell was that attempt? WTF?? You can blame injuries if you want but he's had sufficient time to heal. Didn't Kobe have some knee surgeries in his career?? You can't even tell.

Seriously, this is all about passion, if he trained and rehabbed, he would be right back where he was 3-4 years ago but the guy simply has no intensity. If this is the way T-Mac wants to end his career, then it's all on him.

Yeah, Artest was kinda laughing a little too hard. I mean, he's your teammate for chrissakes, maybe tease him after in the lockeroom. Reminded me of the time Yao got crossed by Marbury and the Suns were laughing their arses off. But at least they were the enemy.
I dunno about Artest. If you saw the game, remember when Barry tried to take a charge and Artest gestured his frustration for him doing that? Before Artest could help him up, Barry jumped up and went down the court without acknowledging him. I bet Artest is a big part of the chemistry problems.

I didn't read everyone's comments but did anyone notice that he tried to jump off his right leg which is the one causing him problems??? Hmmm maybe he was trying to test the knee out. didn't anyone try and think of that??

I remember the Rockets gelling while T-Mac sat. I remember a 22 game winning streak predicated on teamwork and chemistry.

T-Mac was around for the win streak, but the star was the team and not a single player. That's gone out the window and the Rockets are dropping games to bottom feeders.
