im so sad for tmac. obviously, he really has a problem with that knee and all people do is laugh and ridicule him for it. he gets injured playing for the rockets, he plays even if he's injured and yet people dont support him. rockets fans seem to like to kick people when theyre down. anybody remember some dunks that wafer missed? of course you guys dont. coz he doesnt get paid 20mil so its ok for him to miss dunks.
whatever dude, he could have done a NORMAL dunk instead of a reverse.. and there's this thing in basketball called a LAYUP that also gets you 2 points.
What's tragic is that he set himself up for the ridicule by bothering to steal the ball. What a fool for giving some effort, eh?
his mind is def. elsewhere. why the hell would you try that in the first place when you know your athleticism isn't even there. that's beyond stupid. and to compound that, that play basically set the tone for his suckiness the entire game. tracy better wake up right now or just not even play. that was embarrassing beyond words.
Oh well. At least the West, besides the Lakers and Spurs isn't really all that good. We play no defense but neither does Denver or Dallas or Phoenix
tracy can still dunk. he did that v. the bulls a few nights ago. he at least can do better than that. what frustrates me is his sulking and stupidity in regards to going about this knee thing. just fight through it. his mind is not with basketball right now and that's just beyond pathetic. i'm sure by next year with his contract year, with an offseason rest, he'll be back up playing all fine and dandy. but we're wasting an entire year right now. and that's also pathetic. b/c i can guarantee you, tracy will have a great year next yr. but we need him to finish great NOW and he's not showing that so far.
you play to win a championship or show that you can win a championship. so if we get to the 2nd round, you keep the same team?? i don't see championship contender with this group, with or without tracy. i just wish the organization would just scrap this project up, look towards the future, and plan to do big things.
I want Steve Patterson back as Rockets GM. It was his team that won the championship, he built it (then got fired cause of the dispute with Dream) then when he went to Portland (he cleaned that place up and got Brandon Roy) then he resigns oh in between, he helped Houston get the Texans (he was bob mcnair's main person) I use to work downtown next to his office way back in they day.
I'm not a Tmac fan, but man...that should hurt Tmac deeply, I really feel for him. Missing that dunk is as painful as realising you can't do what men do anymore.
Wow.. I never thought I would see that. That was really sad.. especially knowing the type of player Tracy was.
