What a dumbass. the jazz arent throing single cover at him. there sending at times three covers. without the ball he has two guys hanging off him and when he does get it, they throw a 3rd to sop ant drobble penetration. there leaving everother play with single cover. that includes yao. tracy is getting all there defensive attention. there bnch outscored our bench by over 26 points to. there is alot of other factors here to.

there is enough blame for everyone. Tracy hasn't had a great series, but neither has yao, rafer or anyone else. The playoffs really expose you as a team. Bonzi was suppose to be the matchup guy, but he and jvg cant get along. With that being said, it is 2-2 going back to houston.

get off TMac's nuts man, open your ****in eyes. We can't keep makin excuses for this man anymore. We were all in denial in 05, well it's happening again in 07. It ain't about the bench, it all comes back to your best player. If Tmac is attacking more, playing better defense, then our bench and our role players respond. They unfortuntely feed of his energy, but his energy has been ****!

I don't think it was denial in 05. Tmac was amazing in that series. Dallas was just a better team.

Tmac has dropped considerably since the 05 series since the injuries of 06.

Not really, if u watch all the games, he can still do it when he wants. He can still be that stud from 05......he's just chosen instead not to show up....

I disagree. I think Tmac lost a bit since then. He's gotten slower. He can still light it up once in a while, but when he's able to, not when he wants. I just don't think Tmac can endure some of the physical punishments he was going through back then anymore.

But the good thing from that is Tmac has developed a better passing game and refer to his teammates. Too bad he can't really refer to any of his teammates this past couple of games, so he's forced to take some of those ill-advised shots.

Boy have I calmed down from my anger after the game. I was so pissed at Tmac after the loss. I'm fine now, I think :)

all of you who are getting on tmacs ass right now can all go suck a dick, we obviously see who the real fans are now. if you are all rockets fans i am ashamed to call myself one. its just one damn game, its the fing playoffs, its ok to lose one once in awhile. god, if any of ya'll were around twelve years ago you would know that its not how you lose one game its how you come back in the next one. get your act together you fake ass fans, if you don't believe then get the f out of here

I don't post much on this forum, but this thread is a total disgrace. Yes TMac sucked, but so did Yao and the rest of the team this entire series. Its funny how 90% of the guys posting messages in this thread are "Yao Only Fans." Yao is as much to blame as is TMac and our role players. I am so sick and tired of all the bandwagoners that blame everyone on this team except for Yao. Are you forgetting that Yao had 8 turnovers in game 3?? Please mods, lock this thread.

Whoa whoa, slow down there speed racer. So what if some of us get upset after a loss? You're right it's one damn game and it's the playoffs... but that also means that since it's the playoffs, that one game means ALOT more than one game in the regular season.

It's hard to win with perimeter players because their jumpshot could go off.

This board is so negative, are half of you on drugs? Just wanted to remind you that Tracy McGrady is human... mental collapses happen, no need to go crazy about it.

To be honest I saw glimpses this season of McGrady's lack of a killer instinct in the game against the Lakers where Kobe owned him and if it weren't for a second superstar in Yao the Lakers would've blown us out (instead of a win).

I do think Kobe influences games better but did you guys watch game 2 Vs the Suns? Kobe did the same thing and shot jumpers and thus was useless.

In game 3 kobe was aggresive and drove to the hoop and the Lakers were better for it.

It is ON Tracy McGrady NOW for game 5 and for the rest of the 07 playoffs. I love Yao but to be honest he is just not athletic/aggressive enough to carry the team if and when opponents decide to focus on him. He is (like KG) better suited as a supporting superstar.

If you support the Rockets, you will support our players through the good and the bad. What is this trade talk non sense (save it for the off season), for now get a life and when the Rockets play game 5 enjoy the game and root for your team. To be honest I kind of like the fact that we're now underdogs, I'll get to see who responds well and who doesn't - which should be a good indication of who should stay and who should go later.

There were negative people like you in 94 and 95 (bandwagon types) and there will ALWAYS be negative people like you in the future. You looked foolish then and you may very well end up looking foolish again.

Just regarding some of the most outlandish posts here. in other threads i have see people are actually hoping we lose so gundy gets fired. or we should just packup and call it a series. it's sheer stpidity to persume over a playoffs series that everything will go smoothly and you would steameroll you're opponent without a whimper. offcourse there are oing to be momentum changes. now is the time when the real fans show there support and stick through the tough times. this team will get past utah and will go to the WCF. i have hot no doubts it.

If team play good basketball, T-Mac plays good too. He is struggling in the PO's and i do not why. I know they are guarding him well, but come on T-Mac. It's your TIME!

Tracy McGrady needs to realize he has to step up in EVERY game in the playoffs not just certain games. He was mentally out of this game in the 1st quarter which is ridiculous. If he doesn't get his head out of his ass he's going out in the first round again.

Maybe it wasn't a mistake on Yao's part. He was taking a jab at TMa?

I agree with the majority here on the fact that Tmac is walking around, looking sluggish. You do have to remember he has a very, very bad back and the guy get's double-teamed more than Randy West in a Vivid production. He always dribbles out top, Okur or some other douchebag slide off their man and double for a second. Then Tmac go around that right corner and just passes it out to Rafer, who then passes it to the baseline three slots(Battier). T needs more screens, double picks as well. I had told everyone around me if we win one in Utah I'd be happy. Everyone else I knew was already counting their eggs. I believe Tmac will have fourty next game and we will win. Hopefully we can pull the sixth game out in Utah...
