Tmac is making it easy to lose his fans!! U want to root for the guy, you really do; but he is so FAR from a leader that it hurts. When the team was rattled in the 3rd, he kept passing up shots, and not showing any signs of holding the team together. His body language during this playoffs is nothing like the 05' series! He has ZERO dunks this series. No vocal leadership. I;m telling you, I truly am done with him after this season
we just gave away game 3 and 4 without a fight..It's the team's fault. Bench not showing up, starters shooting bad percentage and picking up bad fouls. We played with 0 enery and no intensity at all. The Houston Rockets should be ashamed with the way they are playing.
once again tmac shows he doesnt deserve to go into the 2nd round... what the hell happened to the tmac who didnt care about double or triple teams?? now he can't even drive past derek fisher..DEREK FREAKIN FISHER..ahhh. I HATE THIS FREAKIN SERIES.
i didnt realize until this series how bad our role players actually are. i mean jesus christ, chuck hayes is a starter ? WTF ? john lucas, luther head, and juwon howard on the bench ?? Utah has waaaay more talent than us. milsap is better than everyone on our team not named mcgrady or ming and he doesnt even start. on offense, YAO is too slow and not athletic enough to anything when hes swarmed. i know you all want mcgrady to drive, but look at how utah is clogging the paint. we aren't hitting near enough threes to warrant them even guarding us out there. kirilenko and harpring are pretty much just roaming, waiting to double yao or t-mac. chuck hayes puts us at a HUGE disadvantage on offense. he cant catch and can't finish. like it or not guys, t-mac shooting jumpers is usually our best option. what the hell happened to yaos post moves ???? remember the shanghai shake ?? when was the last time yao actually tried to do a move on his defender ? and what about the DEFENSE ???? when is JVG going to make some kind of adjustment ? we need some ATHLETES on this team in a major way.
the body language of t-mac in the 3rd was horrible! HORRIBLE! Even worse than the fact that he did nothing to inspire his teammates, he's a liablity on the defensive end because he's not playing as a teammate in the defense. Bump the damn cutters and press the passer. Come on T-mac. Someone on the rockets need to call him out. Battier, Howard, Mutombo, I'm looking at you to call him out! Get a dunk t-mac. Give the rockets something to cheer about! Even a weak dunk is fine. Come on!! Zero dunks in 4 games. ZERO freaking dunks for someone that athletic is inexcusable! Poise, intensity, intelligence, and execution. We need that from t-mac.
some of you need medication to deal with your mood swings... We all said it would go 7 games. Everyone got all excited after we went up 2-0. This a reality check.
and the thing with MAc is, he no longer is fun to watch. I remember an ESPN poll in 03,who is the most entertaining and enjoyable player to watch in the league, and Tmac beat out Kobe. Now, the only thing that has kept me rooting for him is the fact that I love my Rockets and that I have been following Tmac since 99'!! Tmac is flat out boring to watch with his soft play and his jumpers
there's something mentally wrong with tmac. tmac dribbles out 5 secs..while utah on the other hand makes a shot with 5 secs.. (remember that 2 on 1 fast break we blew)
It's obvious that Tmac is upset that Marcus Camby won DPOY so he is doing his best to show that D. Fisher should have won the award.
Give me a break. This team sux right at this moment, let people whinge, if u don't want to listen to it, turn off your computer.
This is not just on Tmac. It's on the coach, the bench, and their mom's for not feeding them Campbell's soup before the game. Some of you guys are way too upset right now to be on here with all the "TRADE TMAC" talk. Lets see where this series goes. If Utah advances to the 2nd round.. then I can understand. I'm pissed at Tmac too right now, but maybe, JUST maybe he'll explode on game 5 or 7 to take us to the 2nd round. What I don't understand is why JVG is burying Vspan, Snyder, and the rest on the bench while he's giving JL3 some PT. The game is clearly out of our hands so at least let the scrubs get some experience. I tuned out midway through the 3rd quarter so I may be wrong, JVG might have played the scrubs afterall.. but this is just my speculation thus far.
yeah i remember the orlando days when his turn around 16-20 footers are unguardable and i remember that lakers vs orlando game in which he scored 50 pts in 3 quarters while kobe scored 50 after 4 quarters. And back they he shoots free throws from like the middle of the semicircle and swishes them. And no, his jumpers sux and his freethrow is worse
AFTER 7 YEARS, THIS DUDE DOESN'T GET IT. He is the common day version of Connie Hawkins. I hope we consider somehow trading him if we fail again. Morey is not CD, and he will look to bring winners on this team!
