I'd be much happier with Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich on our team than T-WACK and REEFER Alston

Naaaaaaah, as Yao Ming was inspecting his bruises all over his body in the locker room right after Game 4

    • his toe is bleeding again
    • he got new bruises on his knee
    • he got all new scratches and bruises on his arm
he banged his fist onto his lockers so as to vent out his agony and frustration, and he said: "I am angry, frustrated, disappointed about what's happening to our team.....At this level of our plays, now that in the playoff, it is no longer about skills and physical strength;it is about heart, passion, efforts and determination to win. We just lack that. I am very very very angry, and I am very very very disappointed (about myself and about this team)."

More like Win or Try Dying.

Ok so Tmac played one good game.. I wasn't able to watch the whole game (1st quarter, and last half of 4th). So I can't really judge Tmac's performace, unless R2K would be kind enough to torrent it to us (and as usual, your efforts are supremely appreciated!).

From what I hear Tmac did a pretty good job today. I'm glad to hear that finally. I saw him explode (except for that 3pt airballer) in the 4th quarter. From what I can see, it seems like Tmac really needs the crowd to get into it. If this is true, then the true test is really game 6 in Utah. High altitude, hostile crowd. Nothing could be harder.

I'll be sure to watch that game. In the mean time, lets hope he keeps his mouth shut. He can talk all he wants once he's in the 2nd round.

Totally agree with you. He needs to prove himself on the road in a hostile environment like Utah. T-Mac was unbelievable today, by far the best player on the court, but he needs to do this in Utah to make a statement. Hopefully he does it...

TMouth did what he said he would do, and what he has the god given talent to do. He is SUPPOSE to have performances like this night in and night out, not just for 1 damn game... I'm still a nonbeliever in TMouth, unless he keeps it up for the rest of the playoffs and for at least another 2 season. And has no more r****ded lazy mental break downs like he did with 5.5 seconds left to go in the half of the previous game...

Guess what, there are 5 guys hell bent on stopping Tmac everytime he touches the ball. Go figure his best game of the series comes after we started making some early 3's, forcing the defense to respect everyone else and leave Tmac mostly 1 on 1. It takes 5.

Davis is not getting double-teamed 30 feet away from the basket.

exactly. even avery johnson admitted he only tried to trap davis 5 times.

    that's 5 times in a whole game.

tmac is trapped what? every single time.

cmon man, u cannot even compare the level of defensive attention tmac gets as compared to bdiddy.

plus, davis plays on a team where everyone can score. and they can switch everything and anything. though he is their best player.

I agree Davis has faster and quicker players to compliment his style. It helps that he's playing in a run and gun system.

I think it's not fair for Tmac being compared to Baron because they're in a totally different situation. The difference I see is the amount of intensity the 2 players have shown collectively throughout the first series.

Davis plays in a more up tempo system which IMO is so intense that the players are dragged along with it. Where Tmac plays in a grind-it-out half court system where everything is almost slow-mo, that it's a rarity that the players make big incredible plays.

another difference is that t-mac gets trapped more because he needs to have a pick to create, bringing the extra defender into the picture to give the option to trap, while davis can still take his man 1-on-1 off the dribble, (which t-mac can't do anymore, especially against the quicker d-fish). for davis, iso with no pick means no extra defender there to trap. since tmac has lost a step from 04-05, this is not an option unless they put giricek or someone even slower on him.
