    Yeah, it's not like Kobe ever had ZERO POINTS in the second half of a game seven blowout loss before...

    ... Oh... Wait...

    And that three by Novak would not have existed if not for McGrady's drive.

    Its not even about the scoring, Tmac just doesnt have the WINNING factor. You cant learn that .... its gotta be in you.

    I think this team plays decent with a below avg tmac, why not do a one for one deal. Get another player back in return, work with him. Artest ive been saying is the perfect fit for this team. His power is what we need.

    i don't have tivo or anything so i can't pinpoint the exact time this occurred, but late in the game when the game was clearly on the line, tmac was literally HIDING from the ball. someone had it about 20 feet out and was looking around for help and tmac, where he would normally pop out and get the ball up top, walked toward the baseline and went as far away from the ball as possible. to be fair, it was the first time i've ever seen tmac look physically afraid to get the ball, but its something that should never happen.

    Was that not T-Mac who created the last shot for Novak? Yes, we lost a huge lead but WE WON! I think what is most important is that we closed out yet another close game. So what if Artest had a big game. T-Mac had 40 last time they met and WE LOST. Not to mention that just last week, T-Mac hit won us a few games with clutch shots down the stretch.

    Seriously..... many of you b%tCh like little girls. Whether you are a Tmac fan or not I have never seen this type of bashing on any player. A player who is on the team that you supposely a big fan of.

    Tmac can be a:

    scorer = u b%tch
    passer = u b%tch
    team player = u b%th
    bad shot selection = u b%tch
    takes too many shots = u b%tch

    List goes on and on. Houston is winning...8 game winning streak u still .....
    This site has really gone down hill this year with all this nonsense. Just straight bashing rather then constructive criticism.

    Uh, we didn't rely on his "jumper shots" to win this particular game. Admittedly, T-mac did not have a very good game but he certainly wasn't terrible out there. He was after all being guarded by Artest for a few stretches who is obviously notorious for his suffocating defense. His presence alone causes defenses to concentrate on him, thus, opening up shots for other players.

    We won tonight people and we did it without T-Mac going nuts on offense.

    Look, our Rockets played an amazing THREE quarters but everyone collapsed in the Fourth. Not just T-mac but practically everyone who played...quit laying all the criticism on Tracy alone. LEAVE TRACY ALONE YOU BASTARDS!

    That's the problem. Earlier, people were mad at the Rockets for overly relying on T-Mac ... get him the ball and hope he can win the game like in Seattle and Milwauke. We're trying to get away from that, right? Other guys need to be able to make a play as well. T-Mac got plenty of touches in the fourth, but he was being defend tightly by Artest. Aren't we supposed to play offense as a team and get scores that way?

    what all-star caliber player is incapable of making that simple pass to novak?

    credit for this win goes to novak.

    and mcgrady didnt compete. those drives at the end of the game were ridiculous. we would've been better off having mike james go for those drives. at least he would've thrown up a shot instead of throwing bad passes or turning it over.

    oh i'm all for spreading scoring responsibility and getting other people involved so that we don't have to rely on tmac to carry the team. but the dude didn't score at ALL in the 4th. expecting more from his teammates doesn't mean tmac should suddenly be incapable of getting his. im not asking him to dominate the ball and hit clutch shot after clutch shot like he has in many games, because i don't think that's best for the team in the long run. but when his team is in the pressure cooker he has got to be able to come up with a bucket here and there. he did come up with the big assist at the end but the last 12 minutes of this game were an absolute disaster, and i expect a little bit more from our star guard than 1 assist.

    yeah, i give Novak all the credit, don't get me wrong, that was an amazing shot, but what i'm saying is that just cuz t mac was not having a good night tonight it don't mean he does not compete at all, ever. every superstar has some nights off.

    Novak's last shot saved Tmac, the rockets, and himself.
