Let's wait and see. With the depth we have now, we would still be alright if Mcgrady misses a few weeks. It's a long season and every player has a few off weeks.

Playoff time, Mac is always ready.

    his playoffs average:

29 pts, 7 boards, 6 dimes, 2 steal, 1 block 43% fg, go to the line 9 times a game.

again antisonic, your act is getting old. you may criticize him b/c he hasn't won, but don't say he doesn't step up in the playoffs.

    McGrady's May and June averages:
12.4 Fish Per Game (8.5 keepers)

An amazing 3 to 12 bite to cast ratio

How many more Tmac hating threads? And don't tell me it's not hating, because the freaking season hasn't begun yet. Jeeez give it a rest. Have you talked to tracy daily? No? Ok shutup then.

    I'm with you River,
I don't care about the regular season as long as no one gets hurt.

I'm not saying I agree with AntiSonic,
but the Fishing Poll means he's gone fishing, not he can't score a bunch of points.

If TMac averages 10 points a game and we make it the 2nd round, that'll always be better for a Rockets fan than all these numbers that you Tmac#1 fans care about. Or that Tmac In Orlando cause that has nothing to do with the Rockets and Orlando is not Houston despite the hot climate.

Why do you Tmac fans always care about points instead of winning? If you care about scoring so much there's room on the Kobe band wagon, he scored 82 points in a game.

I don't think that was the point. I mean a lot of people say Tracy didn't step up in the playoffs....

But damn, his numbers ain't bad, what's more they are good. so maybe it was not only his fault?

    As a Rocket fan,
I'm sick of losing every year in the first round, even worse, losing to the Jazz.

You know what this reminds me of? you maybe to young to know..

as long as he brings it in the post season, like he has the past two, we should be fine.

I understand it, I know how it feels, it hurts a lot especially losing to Jass...

But what can we do when we play without Yao, Rafer and with injured McGrady and Shane...? NOTHING. Healthly opens up everything for this team...

I can't believe Academy hasn't made Tracy McGrady the face of the company. The guy goes fishing more than anyone!

The Oilers were a loaded team with pro Bowlers every year, yet their loses were monumental
    every year was worse
When the Oilers blew it in Buffalo, they were without their Hall of Fame players, Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas, they lost to second stringers
When the Oilers reloaded with Buddy Ryan as defensive coordinator and big name free agents, we lost in Houston to a Kansas City team with an elderly Joe Montana
Every year, the same excuse, we'll get em next year. Did they ever make far?
Yes they went to the Super Bowl... after they moved to Nashville
Oiler fans toward the end, never made any excuses any more

The Oilers under the Run-and-shoot offense scored.. they scored ALOT OF POINTS

The problem with your argument is if we get out of the first round and even further Tmac gets all the Glory. And he wants it, that's why he says, "It's on me" and "This is my team". If the Rockets win then he is a hero and fortune teller. He gets the glory and loves it.

But when we lose every year and the media labels him as a runaway bride who leaves the fans at altar while he sleazes out the back door whining all the way. And he hates that so to debunct some of the critics he starts to blame and make excuses. This latest attempt is his way of making excuses to his critics before the wedding even starts. Yeah his whines may be legitimate but that do him any favors. Let the staff or his teammates explain how much he is hurting but still playing through it. Just once he needs to suck it up and take the lead from some his teammates like Yao and Scola and Battier. If he just shuts up and wins the fans will know the truth and they will gladly give him the glory.

    AntiSonic: 1.89 posts per day
    T-mac&Yao=RING: 3.82 posts per day

But admittedly, stats can be deceiving, just like McGrady's playoff "dominance."

Even if Tracy avg. 10 points a game like you said and still made it to the second round. Haters like AntiSonic will than say he didn't help the Rockets did it without him it was all Artest and Yao. And its not about the points he has scored its about his game as he takes it to another level when the playoffs comes around. Look at his reb. and ast. per game he does so much more than just score the ball.

Oh and Kobe scored 81 in a game not 82.
