The NBA has not become all about showmanship. In fact, the NBA has been putting down some ridiculous rules to try and improve its image. If you truly understood my point, you'd realize that you can be competitive--you can even banter--without disrespecting the game, others, and yourself.

And FYI: You gots some major ego/hate issues. I didn't say anything about TMac as he's completely irrelevant to my point, "BRO."

Watch the bench, mainly Jon Barry. He invented the "roll on the ground" after a big facial dunk.

There you go again...."you got some major hate issues" what? I bet 95% of people who read my post found it funny, cause it was. its okay to laugh at something and not take something so serious, you even said yourself, "that NBA has been putting down some ridiculous rules to improve its image"....you called the rules ridiculous yourself, the sport is popular today because that people get dunked and its okay to laugh, who cares? those guys dont...they are making millions of dollars why are yall so uptight?

I bet making up statistics adds nothing to your credibility. What irks me is the inconsistency from the NBA in the enforcement of these rules. Carl Landry gets fined for standing up, yet nobody on Cleveland gets fined because they're on the same team as THE GOLDEN CHILD.

And for those of you bringing up the Bradley dunk, that was a legitimate poster in the playoffs. Delonte West threw the ball in on a guy who got about a foot of air.

T-mac is back! Obviously his timing was off, but look at how he recovered from that dunk! He was able to sprint right back downt he court. Looks like the backs better!!!!!!!!!!!!

T-fierce needs to come back to H-town. Let's do it boys

    T-MAC, COME BACK
    T-MAC, COME BACK
    T-MAC, COME BACK

That is one of the best dunks in the history of the game and its on the road in a playoff game.

    Huge difference.

This was also the point where we crowned ourselves as contenders and Yao as Shaq and Tmac as Kobe..

    Not exactly

That was one of the greatest dunks of all time. Delonte West had a nice smash. Will be forgotten in a month. Throw in the fact that its the playoffs and I dont think any of the Rockets act that crazy..

Cavs bench is so fake. so annoying. Watching that dunk only further stresses how far tmac has fallen.

Hey, you got to admit that at the time, things were looking up for the duo. They were suppose to be Shaq and Kobe without the drama (*ahem*). This was way before their injuries started taking them out for long stretches. I guess it was just not meant to be. :(

    Facts are facts.

In all their childish actions, they still have a better record than the rest of the league. Even the "serious" teams. Basketball is a GAME. Seriousness is appreciated at times, but seriously. You guys need to learn to lighten up.

    I didn't. Magic Johnson did.

yeah me and everybody thought we'd beat the Mavs, then reality happened.
then reality happened again and again.

Reality is that they were nowhere as good as those two.

Man, I was convinced if they could get past the Mavs which I knew would go 7 games, they were Finals bound. Refs decided differently, and then the team screwed themselves in game 7.

I never felt like any team after that season had the chemistry to go far in the playoffs after that.

    "Again" implies repetition.

Mind explaining how you came up with 95%?

    These are mutually exclusive statements.

You're absolutely correct about one thing. People need to be able to laugh. More importantly, however, you need to differentiate when it's appropriate.

Just because someone won't sniff 7 figures in his lifetime, doesn't mean those who do, need to be oppressed to coddle his insecurities. If someone gets paid millions of dollars, he still deserves human rights. Likewise, just because someone gets paid millions of dollars, it doesn't make him super-human or above the law.

FYI: your precious LBJ is one of the top earners in the NBA, and he cares A LOT about getting dunked on.

I wonder if T-Mac took cortizone shots before that game with the Pistons Wednesday.

Making layups vs. Making jump shots... Learn the game... LeBron is no where close to being a better shooter than Kobe. He never will be.
