Actually, Indiana is a good offense team. They are the no.7 for offense.

    BTW, Houston is the no.20.

I really hate the way he play. He play sucks games after games. When he is in the court, no one knows what to do, and just stand and watch.

I was bored and decided to watch the DVR of the game, only watching plays where TMac was involved on offense or when his man played a role in shooting when he was on defense and I wrote down what happened each time, and you couldn't be more incorrect.

I plan on doing a TMac play by play breakdown summary tomorrow. Sufficed to say, all of you Tmac haters will be eating crow

There is no room for your statistical analysis in here sir. Leave your objective summaries at the door please.

T-Mac hater glasses man. They show everything so "clearly."

I don't see how T-mac's performance other then his shooting was that bad.

    Running without the ball: check
    Playing through an injury: check
    Deferring to his teammates: check
Moving the ball: (9 assists) check
    Contesting shots: check
    Getting steals: check
Played D: (5 def rebs, 3 steals) check
Took the ball to the rack: check (but missed 3 layups and a six foot jumper)

Had he made those 3 lay-ups, he'd have been 9-19, or about 45% - which is good for a guard.

Yao didn't have a great game either shooting wise....but both of the stars contributed to the win - and they did it by enabling other guys to step up.

So don't dog on the stars today. They played like they were asked. Maybe you should be complaining about Rick Adelman....

I don't think guards box out much because they arent big enough. Does Kobe box out? Does Redd box out? Does Vince Carter box out? Does Wade box out? Tmacs rebounding isnt bad.

He is still playing an ISO game and that could hurt the Rockets when they start playing against better opponents. Adelman has his guards and forwards swap places during the play from time to time. Tracy keeps standing in the same spot. Tracy is not moving when he should be, and he is not going where he should be. This is why the offense doesn’t flow the way it should. This is also why Rafer does not play as well when Tracy is on the floor. Head actually does a better job in Adelman’s system than Tracy does. The assists that Tracy was getting were the same type of assists that he would have gotten by playing in the JVG system.

PnR will always be a part of this offensive - it's part of Adelman's system as well. You don't throw the baby out with the bath water ya know.

T-mac was moving a lot more without the ball, but he also gets the ball in tough situations - situations that our players normally freeze up and blow leads in.

Now....one could argue that it would be better for our guys to learn how to handle life without tmac in tough situations....but i say, why??? I'd rather put t-mac in there and win.

    19 pts, 5 reb., 9 assists, 2 TO's! God what a waste! Let's trade him already!

Ever played a game after having the flu, genius? You WILL lack energy regardless.

Next time you post at least engage the brain and fake your intelligence rather than blathering this kind of stupidity.

BTW, despite NO passion and energy, he fed his teammates 9 times and several in crunch time to Landry with the game in the balance.

BUT, you're right he sucks!

The reason the Pacers scored so many points is because of how hot they got from the 3-pt line. The team did a good job defending them for most of the game; yes, including McGrady. Look at their final FG%.

And I'd like to add that most of those threes they were getting weren't that easy... I mean, they didn't have a man in their face on every shot, but they had to release quickly. It's always been part of the Rockets defensive strategy to force teams to shoot J's as much as possible. If they get hot from out there, then we get in trouble, but more often than not, it's pretty effective.

(BTW, the same thing happened against GSW... They got red hot from outside and made a huge run as a result.)

You can’t have a guy playing 90% motion offense in Jerry Sloan’s system, and you can’t have a guy playing 90% PnR in Adelman's system. If a player doesn’t stick within the system it doesn’t matter how well he plays he is hurting the team. Since this is a thread about Tmac’s defense I won’t steer it away anymore.

I think the more important question is "when is T-mac going to learn to shoot straight again."

The man's game has really fallen off the past 2-3 weeks now.

funny you say that, b/c he just had come off of the injured list and he still hasn't recovered.

if he plays like this at the condition that he was at the beginning of the year, then i can say he has fallen off. look at tmac's fastbreak dunk tonight -> he barely got off. give him time.
