Unfortunately, I don't think this interview was today, or otherwise he would have whipped the Celtics tonight.

T-Mac is not usually a fiery individual, but man, when you piss him off, that tough upbringing he had comes through in him, and he shows that tough side of him. His eyes were burning through that interview

Thanks for the link. Wow, T-Mac looked pissed. Was the whole interview about his falling out with Weisass and Orlando or did any of it focus on more positive things(you know, like the Rockets emerging as a contender)?

It was all about Orlando. You know how ESPN wants to display controversy. I am surprised Mac got down to ESPN's level. I think JVG will be disappointed, you don't want a potential distraction.

I doubt it will be any more distraction now than it was all season. I'm sure he's been getting the same questions about it since the trade happened, it's only now that he decided to speak out.

You're dead right about that. I hope he brings some of that fire onto the court against the Boston Weisbrods tonight (hehe).

Tracy is generally so laid-back and smooth that it's good to see a spark from him at times. Even when he hits big, important shots, he's normally pretty even-keeled about it coming back down the court. He's almost like" Yeah, that was nice. But I knew it was going in."

When he gets seriously pumped and emotional (like the last minute of the Dec. 9 game vs the Spurs), it's a sweet thing to see. Like when Yao gets pissed and scores three-four baskets in a row.

As a Rockets fan, I love to see the fire from guys other than JB and Sura.

It's very easy for T-Mac to talk smack considering the Rockets are 14 games over .500 for the first time since 1996-97(the first season of the Big Three) and the Magic are in a freefall that'll leave them out of the postseason. Notice how those Orlando newspapers no longer run stories about "Me Mac" and how the Magic are allegedly better off without him?

And Van Gundy won't mind T-Mac's comments given how he himself piled on Weisass yesterday on 610.

Not only they don't criticize T-Mac, but they are showing him respect. One article talked about T-Mac's star qualities and his unbelievable talent. Another article talked about his relationship with Grant Hill. They are already missing him in Orlando. I can testify to that, because I live in Orlando.
