Moery is so smart. Imagine we let this guy play more? In two games he injured his knee. We played him 7 minutes to stimulate others' interest and attention. "Ohhh t-mac is back, looks good, let's sign him". Morey just stole Walsh's candy bar. Genius.
While I agree about DM being a genius, I don't really think that the Knicks made the trade for the player...it was for the expiring contract
Waiting to hear from Stephen A Smith when he will have surgery to correct his vagina and he'll be missing the rest of the season.
I'm so excited about the potential of these Knicks draft picks! T-Mac is done, The odds of 2 max free agents giving up $25 million (+ paying taxes in New York) to go to that mess in New York are slim at best. And the odds of a sign and trade are just as slim considering we have most of their assets! Please don't cry for TMac he'll live like a KING for the rest of his life off the hundreds of millions he's already made. Besides he may just shut it down and then sign with contender (Lakers, Cavs, or Mavs?) in the offseason.
Fail. The typical joke is Asians pronounce their 'l' like 'r', not the other way around. But fixed anyways.
I'm sure TMac cried crocodile tears for us when he picked the Lakers in the playoffs right before the Rockets got ready to take them on. Good riddance!
What Morey fail to mention is that $30 mil is over a period of a certain time like 4 or 5 years, so thats like $6 to $7 mil a year. There are ways to make it up like endorsements and others ways, I don't know all the details. While superstars are already known worldwide, it still doesn't change the fact that endorsement will offer more or propose a new deal if they go to a big name city. Lets say Lebron comes to Houston next season, I'm sure more of us will buy tickets for next season. Now since there is more of a us at the stadium, a business will see this as a advertising opportunity, so they will go to Lebron and work out some deal.
The Knicks WANT McGrady to get injured again, so that insurance money will kick in. Sad, but probably true. They aren't interested in him for next year, so there is no reason to be cautious and limit his minutes like any normal coach would do for a player returning from major surgery.
That is a good point, any games he misses due to his knee is 80% covered by insurance. Good catch Doc. DD
Some mod moved my post of this article to the Tmac as a Knick thread...but here is another one 5 hrs later... You cant hide the Truth!!!
