I bought my T-Mac jersey last year .

 

You would think all of China would hop on those Yao jerseys. If I'm not mistaken, T-Mac's jersey is more popular in China (sales wise) than Yao's... which I kinda don't get it.

I'm just going to agree with Yao's reasoning (on Kimmel) that the only reason T-Mac's jerseys sells more is because all of China all ready his.

 

Kobe did a good job changing number from 8 to 24, very good marketing.

I wonder if they count all jerseys or just the authentic ones? I bought a crappy one at Academy for $35. I don't wear jerseys often.

 

Why is Iverson's jersey so popular...

I'm not denying that it is - you see them all the time over here in Aus!

But why!! Would it have become less popular in the last 3-4 years?

i got 3 tmac swingmen one with orlando and the retro houston and the home houston. I got yaos jersey for cheap on nba.com one year. If this takes into account only nba.com sales i can see why yaos not on the list, i dont think he sells much here in the states only die hard rockets fans would probaly have one.

Umm yeah maybe because Jordan isn't in the league anymore so he will fall off since this list includes years where he still played.

Also if I'm not mistaken Jordan led jersey sales twice in Washington so yes his years with Wizards helped a lot.

And this list is only for NBA.com sales and sales in the official store in Manhattan. If it included every online new jersey sale from a store on the web I would think Yao and T-Mac would be at least in the top five due to the sales in China.

 

Well I'm still a college student so my jersey ownership isn't a lot.

I have the Iverson one because my mom when I was 15 (seven years ago) saw it on sale and bought it. I've worn it two or three times.

I have Jordan because I found it on sale for 15 bucks in a Footlocker and bought it just to piss off my friends who are Bulls fans (I have a lot I live in NW Indiana). I've only actually worn it once. I normally just take it out and show it to my friends or offer to let them wear it.

Barkley is the reason I'm a Rockets fan so I have to have it and wear it quite a bit.

I also have a Carl Landry Purdue jersey but thats technically college. Also I buy 49er jersey normally when I want a jersey they are first and foremost for me. I don't by jersey's a lot. I buy a Rockets, 49ers, Purdue, and Cubs hat every year and wear one of them practically every day.

 

I'm not suprised. Have you noticed the number of players wearing #1 jerseys since T-Mac has blown up?
